Work began almost immediately, and moved along in a timely fashion; however, we had some special-order materials in our project, and the project took longer than expected because we had to wait for the materials to arrive. They reversed the swing on two of our existing doors, so we didn't have to purchase new doors (or waste the old ones). There is no indication whatsoever that they had done that - the work the carpenter performed was exemplary. We had some complicated wiring involved in the project, as well - the electrician seemed to handle it easily (and everything works as desired). They even encountered an issue with our air handler that was complicated, and they were able to resolve the issue as if it had never occurred. We did encounter some issues after the project was completed, but Gary responded immediately and ensured that the issues were resolved. Finally, we were not charged extra due to any of the surprises that arose during the project. I would recommend GBP Contracting to anyone who is considering remodeling.

The price was very reasonable and for the most part we were pleased with the job once it was completed. It took longer than expected, but once Jose had another job scheduled he rushed through to finish our job and took some shortcuts. When asked to come back to fix the problems he wanted to charge much more which we did not appreciate. At that time, we chose not to have him do any further work on the house. Jose does good work, but he frequently leaves his crew at the job site and either they do not understand what to do or start doing things they arent supposed to do unsupervised and make mistakes. None of them speak english so we had to supervise them and call Jose if something was going wrong."
