"I had a rough sketch of what I wanted and Alex was able to turn it into a design, suggest colors to fit with my existing patio, determine the appliance requirements and build a spectacular outdoor kitchen.  He and his crew were always prompt and courteous and thoroughly cleaned up after their work.  He maintained regular communication regarding what he was doing and when subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, gas and granite counter tops would be onsite. "He was able to schedule us within a week and arrived promptly at the appointment time. He was vey friendly and professional. He went out of his way to assure that he didn't leave any messes - took his shoes off when he entered and covered the carpet with a tarp while he worked. When he tried to start it, it didn't start so he proceeded with the full checkup. He took the parts out, cleaned and polished everything, and reassembled it. When finished he hit the ignition and everything worked fine. He could have gone at that point but he turned it off and on a few more times and found that it didn't ignite each time. He then took it apart again and looked at the ignition unit and discovered it was bad. I was very impressed that he carries most commonly needed parts with him so he was able to repair it on the spot rather than scheduling a followup appointment. He then reassembled it and tested it several more times before concluding that we were now set. <br />"

"Not good. The corrugated roof leaks like a sieve where they over lap. Eventually the rain will rot the cross members of the roof where it leaks. There should be a 4" over lap and there isn't and there was no sealant used at the over lap. Where cross ties were put between the joists they are not even butted up securely..you can see daylight. Where they screwed the roofing to the joists( see through roofing ) they missed the joists in several places..so that you can see the screw hanging down for below..are ya kidding! When I called to get this issue fixed they were too busy to come see the problem and I have not heard back from them. Their yard work might be excellent but I would steer clear of construction work. The owner as a bit of a temper which was displayed on the job site. . The owners helper seems the more knowledgeable of the two. We have done much construction our selves(not pergolas or covering one) but were swamped so hired this job done. We were excited to have it done and should have examined the job more thoroughly before paying..our bad. We have since built a couple of pergolas ourselves..Better than theirs! I think the price is about right but they were less than others contacted...you get what you pay for!!"
