"Pace was great from the sales person Dan all the way through the install. I was so happy with my first install that there was no doubt I was calling them to do the rest of my windows in my house. I’ve recommended them to both of my brothers who also ended up using Pace, so there’s no one else I’d go to in order to get new windows through."

"They did an amazing job installing windows in our sunroom. They walked us through the options we had for the large windows we wanted to replace and Dave helped us decide on the best option based on how we would be using them. The windows are a huge improvement on what we previously had. Could not be happier with them. Would absolutely hire again for any future projects."

"When he came to do the estimate, he informed me he was scheduled out about a month which was fine. To perform the install, he would need to knock out some of the mortar around the windows first. This cost was included in the above estimate. I called him a week before the install date to confirm with no issues. On the day of the install, he arrived after 9am and was finished - cleaned up and gone - by noon.  The windows looked great. I would recommend him to others. <br />"

"They were excellent! They did a fantastic job on every window in the house including the ones in the attic. Our bay window gave them some issue but they called a supervisor who came right out and got that window installed. We did have a small draft issue this winter but they came right out and resolved the problem. They put down plastic to protect our home and wore little booties as well. They showed up on time, were extremely professional and cleaned up well. I just can't say enough good things about them."

"Tom (owner/manager) coordinated with company that installed windows so all work proceeded in timely manner, making it easier for us as homeowners, as well as preventing unnecessary weather exposure. <br /> The 3 man crew, with Bill in charge, worked very well together. They cleaned up EVERY day and were very sensitive to home owner's input (closed gates with every trip in case Frankie the dog was out in the yard, kept radio at low volume and asked first to use it, kept driveway clear for home owner's use, NO bad language and always very pleasant). <br /> Owner, Tom, was on site nearly every day to check on work and he and Bill communicated by phone in between visits. Tom also checked with homeowner frequently and was happy to address any concerns. <br /> Impressive to me was an act of kindness regarding 2 active bird nests in old attic vent which needed to be covered. These guys built a little platform, placed it in a nearby Yew tree, then moved the nests to their new home! The parents of the birds soon followed and all was well. I don't know how many workers would have taken that extra step...or even cared! but these guys did. Great job. <br /> Bill and his crew worked all day ...no lengthy breaks, always on site, always on time. They were quick to describe how the siding, insulating process worked, how pieces fit together, how the cutting machine worked or whatever this inquisitive home owner asked them, and always consulted me when there was a questionable issue. <br /> I thought these guys were great and would certainly recommend them. <br /> <br />"

"I had 3 pieces of double pane window glass that had lost their seal, and my wifes piano had a mirror on the front of it that had been broken before we ever met. <br /> I called on a monday and asked if he could get the mirror installed before mothers day. <br /> <br /> He stopped over and took the measurements on the windows and the mirror. then return on friday with the piano mirror and installed it, <br /> <br /> My wife had been talking about getting the mirror fixed for 15 years and her mother had used the same piano when she was a child. <br /> <br /> When her mom saw it after it was replaced, she started reminiscing about looking in to the mirror when she played as young girl. This made my wife very happy. <br /> She said it was one of the best mothers day presents ever! and I kinda killed two birds with one stone. <br /> Martin said he would have to make the window glass and would be back in a couple weeks. I never called again and true to his word he came back and installed the new double pane windows that he had manufactured himself. This was so much easier then replacing the whole window frame. <br /> Professional , quality work, done quickly! ! <br /> , <br /> PS My biggest pet peeve is when people say they will be there, then don't show up and you have to call! Its always nice to see a company that believes in customer service. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Syracuse, NY

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
