"This is our second time using One of a Kind Carpenter. They are great to work with from start to finish (calling to book an estimate all the way to completion of project). For this project, we had our exterior crawl space openings all redone as well as remodeling our laundry area in our house. Our home is almost 100 years old, and Chad made sure that all of the changes looked as if they belonged in the house. He made sure to match the custom crown molding in the house, and even went as far as custom creating jeweled doorknobs to match the other jeweled doorknobs in th home. The team was very professional, always on time, and, most importantly, did exactly what we wanted (and more). We will be using their services again!"

Based on his recommendations, he also expertly crafted matching “cabinet-like” doors to match the cabinets purchased. He incorporated this look around my free standing area that encompassed my walled-in downdraft stove which was previously covered in tile. He also designed my pantry door to my existing pantry area that matched the purchased cabinets. He saved me several thousands of dollars in lieu of purchasing new pantry cabinetry that would have required reconfiguration of the wall. "Davide was outstanding in every regard. He politely advised me that he'd be running a few minutes late, was prepared to do the work when he arrived and took time talking to me about exactly how I wanted the towel rack to look and what my options were. He hung it perfectly, even installing a washer so it wouldn't wobble on the wall. He took the door hinges off and spent quite a bit of time trying to repair them so that the door would close properly. After much effort, he advised me that at least one of the hinges was in disrepair and needed to be replaced. He explained what my husband needed to purchase and how to ensure a proper fit on the door. I am extremely pleased with his work and his pleasant demeanor. I would not hesitate to hire him again, and I highly recommend him to those that need handyman work performed."
