"The Foundation Doctor did a great job! Don appeared to be very knowledgeable about foundations and drainage issues. He gave some very helpful suggestions, and actually recommended that we do less work than we thought we might have to do. There were a few delays in the process due to weather and other circumstances that Don couldn't foresee or control, but he kept us informed about the process--and delays--along the way. His team did some repointing of mortar for us which was a little messy. When we asked Don about this, he and his team came back to our home and cleaned things up pretty well. We were very pleased with the work Foundation Doctor did, and have found that it pretty much corrected our basement water problem. We have been managing that for many years, so we wish we had called them sooner!"

Nolan Beery came down to Indianapolis to see the piers first hand - and covered them with their lifetime warranty. I was not the original owner that added the piers... they found the receipt that they did do the work many years ago for a previous owner of my home. Gage Pederson, the Foreman, did an outstanding job of explaining what they were going to do, kept us totally informed each step of the way, and repeated everything, along with the warranty at the end of the job. "My one bedroom remodeling project had to change to a more pressing roof replacement. Initially I contracted with J D Holm & Sons for a small bedroom remodeling project but an ongoing roof repair done by a different contractor was not getting to the source of the roof leak after several attempts. I asked Jay Holm if his company could look at the roof and try to determine the problem. He and his worker got up on the roof and really looked it over. A couple of tiny problems were attended to that very hour. I was aware of the older age of the roof and after watching a home improvement channel show I realized my roof also lacked proper ventilation. When Jay Holm and I talked after the roof inspection he also noted the lack of proper ventilation. It was concluded that a new roof was the best option. Knowing I was on a tight budget, we discussed switching my deposit for the bedroom remodeling contact to a roof replacement contact. It was a great relief and I thought kindness that I would not lose my deposit. Things that initially drew me to J D Holm & Sons were the A rating on Angie's List and the A + listing at the Better Business Bureau. Then reading the reviews on those sites was encouraging. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed that Jay Holm himself answered his phone when I called. He was cordial, unhurried and we scheduled a mutually convenient time in the very near future for him to come to my home and discuss the project. He arrived on time and made notes. Later I received an email that went over all that we had discussed. Actually any time we had a phone call the next day I would receive an email from Jay summarizing the phone calls. This really impressed me as very good customer service as I appreciate thorough follow through. So far it's been a positive customer service experience and the roof replacement should take place late summer."
