"Stephen was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He was prompt, responsive, and did an excellent job. We had had two estimates for the job, and although the price quoted was the same from both companies, Stephen distinguished himself by explaining that he would leave the area very tidy, whereas the other company had specified that the estimate did not include removal of the leaves, Stephen started the work at an unusually early hour, to accommodate our schedules that day. The area was difficult to access and severely sloped, and I'm not sure of how he accomplished all that he did, but when we returned home the area was transformed. He had removed all the debris, tree limbs, branches, leaves, soda cans, etc, which had been accumulating for sometime, raked the area and left it entirely clear and clean. He even suggested some plants that might thrive there. What had been in essence a junk yard, seemed to have become a potential conservation area! We were extremely pleased with the work, and would use Stephen again for other projects."

"Last April I purchased a brand new condominium. There was quite a bit of construction dust as well as some construction debris in the air ducts once the building was completed. I finally decided to hire Dustbusters Duct Cleaning this month to clean them out. The dryer vent was also cleaned and the central AC coil was inspected. Jeremy was the technician who performed the job. He was punctual, polite and courteous, and very knowledgeable. Jeremy explained the entire process to me and showed me before and after pictures of the air ducts. I have noticed that the air flow from my heating system seems stronger now which indicates to me that cleaning the air ducts has improved the efficiency of my heating system. "Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"My parents shower was leaking and causing damage to the ceiling below. Prior to calling Hurley and David four different plumbers had looked at the shower and could not find the leak. I called Hurley and David and they came to my parents’ house within a few days at which point we had the pleasure of meeting Tim, a master plumber. Within 2 minutes of him looking at the shower base he found the leak and explained clearly what needed to be done. We learned among other things that a kitchen drain had been installed instead of a shower drain. A few days later Tim retuned and in under an hour replaced the drain. He was friendly and very professional throughout his visits. I was so impressed with his work I will be hiring him to do some plumbing work in my house. I highly recommend that you consider Hurley and David and especially Tim for all your plumbing needs. They are the best!"

"Took advantage of a promotion that this company ran for chimney cleaning. Although the promotion expired, they did honor the quote/price--which I appreciated. The crew came out and did the job. They were careful and didn't make any mess, which I appreciated. The cleaning was done from the bottom-up (going up through the chimney) which I didn't expect--although it makes sense. However, I have a very tall chimney (100+ feet up - it's a large 3-floor victorian house) so I wondered how that type of cleaning would work. Anyway, they did the job and I thought I got a good deal. However, I had a mason out for some other work on the chimney. When he did a full inspection he said the cleaning had only gone 'half-way' up and that they didn't do a complete job. I trust the mason more, because he did some significant jobs for multiple friends. Also, I was asking the crew leader for a quote for chimney caps. He said they could do it, but that they would definitely need a lift because of the height. And that a lift would probably cost $1000 or more (that didn't include the cost of installing the chimney cap either). Not sure if he was just trying to discourage me from choosing them for the work, but the conversation felt a little 'slick' to me. Anyway, the mason quoted me $400 for each and would go up on the roof without a lift. So clearly I didn't need to spend over $2000 to get the caps done. So in short, this is 'you get what your pay for.' If you have small house, it's probably perfect. But for me, they short-cut the job which is a disappointment."
