"I have had two issues since they installed the new sump pump and irrigation. Issue number one was water still getting passed the new concrete. The other issue is that the new concrete was not level at all which has caused issues with the new flooring I installed. However, their customer service is top notch and will work hard to take care of you."

"We are extremely happy with the work done by 6 Pound Concrete! The owner has been nothing but professional and everything has gone as planned. We are very happy with our new, SAFE, sidewalk that allows for our big maple tree to expand. The owner was most helpful in making sure the driveway slope was done correctly too. I highly recommend 6Pound Concrete."

"Chris has done work for us on many occasions. He always performs at the highest level. I highly recommend my friends to call Chris when they need land clearing and excavation work. His billing is always very fair. John DeCosta"

"Solid responsiveness with a friendly crew. Alan was also good in helping us see our options and best prepare for what the outcome might be. The final commercial finish required some touch-up after it set, which was well accommodated by Alan.

"Larry was an absolute pleasure to work with. He replied promptly to emails and calls. He was able to match the existing color perfectly as I wanted to retain the color even though the entire home and shop were repainted. He changed the trim color, at my request, which really made a difference in appearance. I also asked about some additional work regarding the siding on the shop and thought his price was very fair. That work was also completed quickly and professionally."

"Overall I think Homeowners Concrete is a good company. Our project was not very straight forward, and Mote and his crew had a lot of good input regarding our project plans. I would say Mote, which I believe is a part owner/project manager, has great communication skills. I really appreciated the fact that he would keep me up-to-date on schedule, and would always promptly call me if I ever texted him. The biggest downside, and it's not that big, is the overall attention to detail. I felt like there were a few mis-steps that could have been avoided if they had taken a few extra minutes to double check their work. I compiled two videos. The first one is a collection of photos and timelapse videos that takes you through the entire project. This will give you some insight as to how they work. The second video is a final walk-thru the the project and I go through highlights/lowlights. Timelapse: [*** Link removed ***] Review: [*** Link removed ***]"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Tigard, OR

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
