It took a month from signing the contract for the team to be able to schedule our small project but it was worth the wait. The team arrived as scheduled and completed all work much more quickly than I thought they would. They were professional and I hardly knew they were working on my roof. After they finished the repair they had me come out to look and asked if there were any other areas on the roof where I had concerns or had noticed leaks. I had none but the roofer proceeded to check the remainder of my roof anyway and fixed a few small "cracks" as he saw them. It's amazing to have a company come to do the job I paid for and then to go above and beyond the contract to make sure my roof was in good condition!

New roofing company with nearly a decade of experience in the trade. Servicing any roofing needs in Tuscarawas county and surrounding area. Big enough do do most any job small enough to do it right.

"We called Machen for an estimate to tear off our old roof on our house and detached garage. They were very responsive and Jodi even came out on a Saturday to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable regarding the materials and products we needed, and we were impressed that he actually climbed the roof to take all of the measurements, where other contractors we had contacted did not. The estimate we received was fair considering that the roof deck would need wrapped and the amount of ice guard we needed. Jodi and his team were on time every day and got right to work. They took their time on the job and were very conscientious about the work performed to ensure it was done correctly. Jodi takes a lot of pride in ensuring the job site remains neat and takes a lot of care to ensure they thoroughly clean up before leaving for the day. We ran into heavy rain halfway through the project and Jodi even came out on the weekend to ensure that the roof was water tight before the rain hit. "I called about getting a new roof one day and that day they came and gave me a quote and the day after that they were there.  Had my new roof on in one day.  Called again about a month later to get new screen doors hung and two days later they were hung.  This is a very professional company."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
