The job was done as scheduled and above my expectations. They added an insulating foam block under the heater to increase efficiency of the unit and also installed better earth quake straps. "When my tenant told me about some problems with the heating ducts in this extremely old rental house, I was concerned that I would have to replace all the duct work at a cost of thousands of dollars.  I researched companies that dealt with heating and talked to a couple, but they were basically installers.  I was very happy to find J&M Services, which among other things specializes in duct work.  
When they came out and looked at the disconnected and/or rusted through ducts (some in the walls), I was very happy to learn that they were able to repair the ducts, and that it was not necessary to replace all the ducts.  They retaped all the duct work joints that were visible, replaced and added duct pipe where needed.  They got everything working satisfactorily, and the tenant was very happy to have heat again.  
The worker were very knowledgeable, did a great job, and cleaned up after they were done.  I would highly recommend them.

"I had Mike Guess come to my 100 year old home to give me an estimate for addinging air conditioning to the house and for potentially replacing a 28 year old furnace. I also need a consultation on our old ductwork and he was able to include abatement and new ductwork in the bid. The bid was very competetive and well organized. Mike took the time to explain everything to me and was very responsive to followup questions I sent (many). In the end we used another company. It was not because of anything negative about Sun Glow and Mike Guess. In fact it was a very challenging decision to make. I think we would have been very happy with the work they did for us and way they did the work. If someone is reading this review, I encourage you to consider calling Sun Glow heating and Air Conditioning if you are looking to update your system. PS: I do not have relationship with this company~ I just thought they deserved a positive review for a very positive experience."

"Wonderful! The HVAC crew were excellent! Professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and efficent! They came in, evaluated the job, then got right to work. First day replaced the furnace, it was up and running by the end of the day. Day 2 they started installing the A/C unit. Every day they cleaned up, making sure we, and our grandchildren would be safe, leaving nothing dangerous. The entire crew HVAC, Plumber, gas piper, and electrician were conscientious of keeping our carpet, and house clean, taking off shoes, or donned bootees. Every step of the work being done was explained, double checked that it was what we wanted. Beau the plumber was excellent! He hated telling me that the old pipes were in need of replacement. I knew this was a high likelihood, as the house is over 69 years old. And the pipes were original. He got right to work, he made sure we had running water before he left all but one day. Which was very nice. The water heater move and install went fast! He found the basement bathroom had pipes that were illegal in homes. He was advantageous in having me call the county, as he was certain the basement bathroom was not legal. He spent over 4 hours pleading the case with the county for allowing him to fix the problems found. The county agreed to let him fix the bathroom, and they certified it. (If he hadn't done this, likely the county would have ordered the bathroom completely gutted, and plans submitted for a complete rebuild!) A huge thank you to Beau!!! The rest of the work is now complete. We only have Sheetrock to repair, Roth was able to recommend "The Patchman" and he will start Thursday. Roth Heating and Cooling is a wonderful local company! I look forward to a long relationship with them!"

"The installer was prompt, courteous, and professional. My only wish is that I wished they were able to accommodate a quicker date for the installation. Other than that, the installer had everything on the truck to provide a quick installation and he explained the operation of the new water heater to me as well."
