"Nick is an excellent plumber. My late husband was a perfectionist, and he admired Nick's work and his creative problem-solving. Nick replace a frost-free water facet that would not turn off. I thought the house siding might need removing, but Nick fixed it from the inside of the house, and it works perfectly. Nick's wife walked me through how to turn the water off at the street. Saturday morning Nick and his wife, Anna, showed up, and Nick developed a workaround solution so I could have water until he replaced the pipe that runs from the street to the house. Nick put a sink in the garage with hot and cold running water when previous plumbers said it wasn't possible, and it has worked perfectly for over 10-years now. AND, he cleans up everything before leaving."

A very experienced friendly man listened to my story carefully and addressed the issue that stopped me from doing the repair myself. He cut out the broken (old chrome pipe) that led to the cast iron drain. He tried a wrench like I did, then stopped when it was obvious that would never work. Cut out the pipe without causing further damage. He then snaked it out, and we discussed how in the future this pipe should eventually be replaced. Then he expertly put it back together with new parts. Now I can plan long term solution while resuming my daily routine."

"I originally contacted J&M with regards to cleaning and repairing my clothes dryer vent. The air ducts in my 20 year old house had never been cleaned so I had that done too. They did a very thorough job cleaning the air ducts and it has made a significant difference in the amount of dust in my house. The best part of their job was when the cleaned my dryer vent. It had not been cleaned for more than 10 years (my bad!). My dryer vent comes out of my house on one of the cut-outs in the foundation. I didn't realize that it had become disconnected to the outlet vent and was basically laying in the crawl space of my house blowing out lint and moisture. In order to clean it one of the guys had to crawl under my house and reconnect it and then they fabricated a metal plate where it exits my house to keep it from becoming disconnected in the future. My vent was completely full of lint, they must have cleaned out about a bushel basket worth. My dryer works fantastic now, it's like having a new clothes dryer.  The job they did was absolutely fantastic. They not only met my expectations but far exceeded them.

"Grumpy's Drains was the only company who could get us on their schedule within a week. A half hour before our appointment time, Keith called to let me know he was on his way and then showed up exactly on time. My husband had tried to snake the drains multiple times with no success. Keith was able to clean the clog out of the tub in less than 10 minutes (water balloon and hair clog). He then went to work on the pedestal sink. That was a much more difficult clog while working in a tight space. Keith was cheerful, funny and kind the entire time. The first clog cost a flat $178 and the additional drain was $88.
