"The appointment started off poorly . The installers were a half-hour late; however, they apologized and explained that the office was being opened in a new location that day and they had no phone or internet service. The installers immediately started work and worked diligently until they were done. The door looks very nice and they cleaned up after themselves. As far as we can tell, the door was installed properly. They explained the locking features of the door and also reviewed the installed door with us."

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Josh quickly found the source of a window leak that other specialists missed. This saved replacing flashing and windows in an attempt to stop the water leak. He also expertly replaced the inside trim around my window. It looks just like it should. I'm very grateful for the ways Josh went above and beyond. Josh seems to be doing what he does Best, being a secretary is not that, have patients and follow up. It's woth the effort."

"Advised us and sold us Milgard windows to replace 7 original windows in our home. Their price was among the lowest for the same or equivalent windows. Their contracting support department arranged for installation and handled everything and informed us at every step of the way. They hired an excellent contractor and followed up with us to insure that all was well. They surpassed our every expectations. The refrigerator that we bought was of good quality and, although it was a reduced price floor model, it has served us well. We continue to use them for nearly all needs in products that they sell. We later (in 2011) had two more windows and patio door replaced by them with similar results. <br />"

"Original bid was $850. Somehow it ended up costing $1200. I'd rather know the price up front than be lied to. Every trip he made to the house there was a new issue that increased price. I have since spoken to a couple of installers who assured me that the items he charged me extra for should have been included at no charge and he should have known to look for them when he did the original bid. Like how thick was the existing door and the replacement door? Charging extra to replace trim that you removed? I wouldn't use him again. Which is sad. I would have paid the higher price if that's what he had quoted to begin with, but to nickel and dime at every turn seems shady and I don't want to business with that kind of businessman. The house was under contract and he knew that I had to get the job done, which he gladly took advantage of, running up the price. Don't take advantage of people. It isn't nice. Like I said, I needed the job completed, the issue wasn't the price, I would have paid the $1200, the issue was the way that the man does business. If this is the way that Wayne treated me, I shudder to think of how he would take advantage of someone else who would be easy to take advantage of, say and elderly person or someone else who was rushed. It's better to be up front and honest. The job took longer than anticipated but not excessively. I've noticed that any home improvement job seems to take longer than scheduled."

"No pressure sale. Two craftsmen expertly installed all three windows. Took about an hour per window.I watched them the whole time. Nothing to vacuum when they left. Hope to replace more windows next summer. They are expensive but high quality and proper installation makes it worth it. Wife loves that both windows slide and can be cleaned from inside. Dormer windows crank out a special tool allows us to stand on floor, no ladder needed, to open them."

"Above All Windows & Exteriors were great to work with. Jeff and Randy were very helpful in estimating exactly what needed to be done. Kasey and his crew were excellent and the quality of their work exceeded even what I was hoping for. They did a great job and I will definitely use Above All Windows again."

"We had Brian Dewald as our main contact at Red Diamond. Not only did he make sure inspections were done properly, and thoroughly by the insurance company, but he also personally made sure they covered all the required work that needed to be done. When the began, Red Diamond was also right n time with material delivery, removal of the old roof and installation of the new. When the work was done, I was amazed at the care they took in cleanup making sure my kids and pets were safe from any hidden material that would have remained."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Timnath, CO

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
