"The process started out well. Annette Hale's representative came out and appeared knowledgeable about HVAC unit replacement. Our choices were limited because I specified we wanted a Carrier-brand replacement if available. It was. We chose the higher SEER rated unit and the salesman told us it had a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger. Oddly, he did not include those words on the estimate even though there was a place for it. The work started two weeks later. I was phenomenally impressed with the fellas' work ethic and general workmanship on my project. They happily answered my general questions and the entire installation looked great. Kudos to them on a job well done. In preparation of paying the bill, I looked through the paperwork the fellas were going to leave and could not find a mention of what the heat exchanger's warranty was. The fellas could not either. The salesman was called and he ended up being just plain unprofessional when he could not provide the information. I hung up on him and decided to not pay the bill until the heat exchanger issue was resolved. The next morning my wife drove to Annette Hale's business, and the Service Manager easily showed proof of a lifetime warranty before the bill was paid in full. We are very happy with the new unit's performance, and hope to count on Annette Hale's business when/if needed."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

On June 13, my air conditioner that services my upstairs failed (breaker kept tripping).  Called my home warranty company (Choice Home Warranty) and they assigned AL Comfort Experts to troubleshoot/diagnose issue.

On June 15, AL Comfort Experts came out as scheduled and identified that my compressor had locked up.  They reported this to Choice Home Warranty to effect repair/replacement of the compressor but CHW stated to me that it was reported that my unit was  'not well maintained' by AL Comfort Experts.  I contacted AL Comfort Experts and they not only told me they reported my unit had been 'well maintained', they also wrote/sent me a letter to that effect.  My issues lie with my warranty company, not with AL Comfort Experts.  I had several conversations with the owner Terry, for we both were a bit irritated with CHW. 

So, after several days of fighting with CHW over getting my unit repaired under warranty, it became clear that they would not replace my failed compressor, despite me providing them with almost 6 years of records of maintenance.  They actually told me if it had been serviced the week before, they still would not cover it.

It was through my conversations with Terry that I found them to have a high level of integrity.  AL Comfort Experts is a wonderful family owned company with many years of experience.  I found them to be very honest, forthright about the issues with my air conditioner and they provided me with a couple of options (repair or replace).  After comparing the costs, it was clear that replacement of my Trane compressor (proprietary and expensive), it was much better to do pretty much a complete replacement, as my current unit was 15 years old.  Made no sense to repair at this point.

On June 23rd, Terry (owner) of AL Comfort Experts and an employee came out as scheduled and did a wonderful job of not only installing my new unit and removal of my old unit, they did a top notch job of cleaning up.  Their costs were exactly what they quoted me (no one likes surprises).  There were very professional, came in a nicely marked vehicle, and introduced themselves upon arrival.  They answered all my questions I had and were meticulous in their work.  I especially like the system he provided me (Westinghouse) and explained the warranty to my satisfaction.

I have already given them permission to use me as a reference and have also hired them to do the servicing of both my Goodman main package unit that services my downstairs and the new Westinghouse system that services upstairs.  They have my highest recommendation!

"Overall, we were very satisfied with the knowledge and quality of work that Covenant LLC provided. We had Covenant LLC install a radon mitigation system for our basement. Initially my husband and I met with David for the estimate and consultation. David spent the time to explain how radon can get into the basement, what the system would look like, and how he was going to make sure it was working. After meeting with David at Covenant, we met with a competitor who were definitely not as knowledgeable, were not going to seal any of the cracks or holes in the foundation or even follow industry standard by venting through the roof of the house. The day of install the crew was personable and professional and if they had any questions, they asked. The 3" pipe that Covenant had to install to run through a closet and into the attic. In order to do this, they had to drill through the porcelain title floors and run through 3 shelves. They spent extra time to jig-saw cut the shelves around the pipes and they took special care not to crack any of the porcelain tiles and when finished it looked like it was built with the house. After completion, Covenant came back and tested the radon levels which were reduced to below their guarantee, which itself is orders of magnitude below the EPA limit. We were probably not the easiest clients to work with as we had Covenant move the roof penetration several times until the noise was completely unnoticeable. David was always polite and professional and he wouldn't be satisfied with the job until we were satisfied. We highly recommend Covenant Air to anyone who is considering these services."

"I had a great experience with Moreno HVAC & Electric and Mr. Moreno. He installed a mini-split in my man cave, and the process was smooth from start to finish and the work was high quality & I joke at times that the unit works almost too good at times! Not long after, I started having trouble with my main house A/C not keeping up, & Mr. Moreno came out quickly to take care of it. He was very thorough—checking for leaks, going through the system step by step, & making sure everything was running properly before he left. That attention to detail really gave me peace of mind. What really stands out is how much he cares. He’s always professional, communicates clearly throughout the process, & makes sure you know what’s going on. The part that meant the most to me was he actually followed up after the work was done just to check in & make sure my family was comfortable. That level of service is hard to find these days. "I called Pure Air to see about having my dryer vent unclogged. The owner explained their a/c service; and, since my house is over 10 years old and I have an indoor pet, cleaning the duct work seemed logical.  I appreciated the fact that there was no pressure put on me to get the additional service, just a clear explanation.  The Pure Air technicians were professional, courteous, and apparently knowledgeable.  They explained each step of the service; and, since the builder of my house installed the dryer vent incorrectly, they  suggested improvements for a later date.   My home smells and feels cleaner since the works was done; and I can dry a load of clothes in 1/3 the time--saving on my electric bill and wear and tear on the dryer.   I will definitely use this company again.
