"Jason came to my home to give me a price for new A/C. Had 4 companies give me a quote. Told Jason was thinking about replacing because of R-22 gas . He stopped me and explained what you hear on gas after Jan 1st not right. Gas will be available, just price going up as become less available. Also other gases at less price will work. Honesty that got him my business. He recommended the Brand they normally used. Told him I Perfered Rheem. All other companies wanted more for Rheem. He gave me same price as his brand.Came in much cheaper price and also included 4 service after included in that low price. They had great father, sons team come to my home for install. Very professional, clean and did install in 4 hrs as I was told. Honesty is hard to find.They even cleaned my heater for winter with no charge and fixed a faucet on hot water tank also no charge. "My three furnaces and corresponding compressors were on their last legs and were also freon charged units, which is oh so bad for the environment, so I decided that now was a good time to make a change. I called Intelligent Design to do an evaluation and recommendation as to what units I should buy. The sales person took about an hour to evaluate my home and my needs and present three different bids, ranging from a single stage compressor/furnace combo up to a multistage system. I chose the middle ground and opted to go with a dual stage. None of the bids were cheap (and one was outrageously expensive in my opinion), but hey air-conditioning is expensive in general and an absolute essential living in the desert. They scheduled the work right away, arrived pretty much on time and finished in two days, which was the time frame they had quoted. The workers all did an acceptable job of cleaning up after themselves. The installation was done very well. The work was tidy and completed with great craftsmanship. This to me is the cornerstone of what every service-oriented company should strive for. Alas, that is not always the case. Anyway, I could immediately feel a difference in my house with the ducts sealed and the upgraded equipment. The house cools down faster and the units run less frequently. My energy bill is noticeably lower. I have used Intelligent Design for a about 4 years now for maintenance and repair on my old system and now the installation of the new equipment. Everyone I have ever dealt with in the company has been competent, professional and trustworthy. Not once have I been given the run-around or felt like I was being lied to or taken advantage of. They may not be the least expensive company out there, and if you just want cheap service or install then you should probably look elsewhere. But if you want something done correctly, the first time, then I would recommend Intelligent Design."
