When he came out to survey our prospective job, he listened closely to what we wanted, took notes, did measurements, and made suggestions. Later that day he sent my a proposal, detailing the materials and total cost of the project. Ultimately, the final cost was only about $300 more as additional material was needed. Mr. Nastasi worked a full day each day he was here. He also was honest and direct - he told me when he would arrive in morning, and he did. We had told the sales rep. from Day One that we wanted doors that replicated our matte doors. Oh, wait, we can order doors in a matte brown color! We moved ahead with signing a proposal that comprised manual garage doors (not automatic.) Over & over again, I told the sales that we wanted a receipt of our down payment and he agreed to this. When he appeared onsite at our home to review the proposal, he signed the *proposal* as our receipt. This happened after I asked him (and he agreed) to give us a receipt. It was **only** after my husband demanded a real receipt that Door Works sent us one. When you don't go along with their recommendations they roll all the costs into the work that you are having done. In this case, one spring and installation, $450. Got it done by another company for half of that, $210. Called them to complain, their excuse was they are a bigger company and their prices are higher. The customer should not have to pay for their company being bigger. Very, very, disappointed in their approach and professionalism."
