"We recently had Gunner install Hardie plank siding and gutters. Out of the several estimates we got, Gunner was not only the most competitive but also provided a very thorough and an accurate estimate. Connor, the project manager and team were very professional and did an amazing job. I received daily updates on progress and was asked if I had any questions or concerns. Connor and team were very attentive throughout the whole process and we are couldn’t be happier. Gunner did a great job, at great price and with great customer service."

"We were extremely happy with the service, installation and quality provided by Pella of McMurray. We dealt with Rob Culbertson. Rob was superb to deal with in many aspects. I highly recommend selecting Rob to handle your needs. The installers were professional, respectful and diligent. They worked hard under cold conditions. They were cognizant of their cleanliness too and swept up frequently. The fiberglass windows and doors look great and I examined them thoroughly. My neighbors have been complimentary too. Try Rob Culbertson and Pella of McMurray for your needs."

"I contacted D @ R Builders about an estimate for work the 2nd week of Aug 2011. They came the next day and gave me an estimate that beat out all others I had for my job. They started the job Sept 1st, 2011, less than two weeks after my initial phone call, only extremely heavy rain kept them from working. They finished up in 2 weeks. They stripped the garage, two story multiple peak house, front and back porch roofs. They replaced any wood that was rotten or not serviceable, put down new paper and then very nice shingles. They added peak venting with the house and garage roof and replaced a lot of bad wood. My chimney was in need of major repair and they reset the brick and added a concrete stucco on it to secure the brick in place. That was my choice they also can totally replace a chimney. After all the roofing and chimney repairs and replacements were complete they hung gutters on my garage, rehung serviceable gutters on my house and porch roofs, and replaced unserviceable gutters with new. <br /> <br /> The workers for D @ R are very professional and clean up the job site every day before they go home. They were very respectable of our needs while they were working. <br /> <br /> I am 100% pleased with this company and am using them in the future to install new siding on my house and garage, and also concrete my driveway. I would and have recommended this company to my family, in-laws, and friends for future work, and you should consider them for your home improvement needs."

"We made plans to have the work done while we were on vacation just to avoid the normal disruption that goes with construction. We covered everything in the master bath with tarps to account for whatever trash landed there. We also had planned for a third party to wire in the attic fans when we returned home. <br /> So, the plan was that while we were out of town the crew would replace all of the shingles, any soft wood underneath, and take care of the other installations. It went flawlessly. The installation was exactly as we discussed. The job was perfect (and the roof still looks beautiful). The skylights were top of the line, and the vent fans were also of excellent quality. Even the trash in the bathroom (which we expected) was minimal; I just folded up the tarps and shook them out. I found a few nails in the yard, but really only a few; other than those, you would never have known they were here. <br /> I really appreciated the fact that there was zero downtime for us. I was a little concerned with not being able to oversee the work, but everything was exactly as we discussed. Now, seven years later, not a single leak from the roof, the skylights, or the fans. I'm still very pleased. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Uniontown, PA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
