"My water heater, was about 15 years old, finally started leaking from the base. Now, I have a Home Warranty (AHS), and they were very expedient assigning me to a company to come and see if they could repair it. When the company came out, they gave me estimates, three to be exact. Each estimate was sufficiently more expensive, but it is a water heater replacement, so I understand. For the replacement, they were going to replace the previous model with a comparable. Again, I understand, but chances are, I was overpaying for a outdated and less efficient model. So, after they provided me with their estimate, I Googled best contractors to replace a water heater. I was looking for the reviews, and with the reviews, I only ever look at the 1-3 stars. Well, I found George Plumbing Co. formerly known as Yell For George Plumbing (funny story, if you hire them, please ask why George called it, “Yell for George Plumbing”), and they had 4.9 out of 5 stars (557 reviews) on Google, 4.4 out of 5 stars (58 reviews) on Yelp (They really should have closer to 5 stars) Many of those 1 stars, were very petty. If you rely on Angie’s List, they have a 4.9 out of 5 stars, with 303 reviews, there. If you see or look at Trustpilot, you will see the review is a 2.1, but please make sure you are looking at the right company, as they are George Plumbing out of the United Kingdom. So, please make sure that you are reading the right reviews for the right company. Anyway, just know that I looked at every consumer review site that I could find, even the BBB, which, I normally don’t trust, but still looked. Don’t waste your time, I absolutely disagree. They used high quality equipment, the technicians/contractors were absolutely amazing. Nathan and Austin, were very professional, explaining what they found, how they would remedy it, and what I can do to extend or prolong the life of my new water heater, based on what most likely caused the one being replaced to go out. Both Nathan and Austin, were active listeners, ensuring to address each of my concerns, before the work, during and upon the completion of the work. As with many houses, 10 plus years old, there was a lot of new codes that increased the cost of the work, to bring it up to code. Not only did they correctly explain it to me, but I had already research and talked to the city and county to see what codes my previous heater needed updating. They were right on the money. Another important concern was the warranty. I was happy that they both explained the details of it, made themselves available to contact after hours for any questions I might have forgot to ask. Believe me, I texted, and Nathan replied, in short order. Both Nathan and Austin are very experienced, but also patient, and have a very high level of attention to detail. When they arrived to diagnose the leaking one, my garage was an absolute mess. They even took the time to clean up, my mess, and treat the area that was damaged by the leak. They were very expeditious as well, both taking their time, but not wasting my time on unnecessary explanations. They were both a pleasure to have work on and in my home and I will definitely be using them again if I need too. Of course, I hope I never need to again, just saying… They also took the time to clean out and empty my water softener, which was quite full of sludge and sediment, that contributed to the previous water heater’s decline. I highly recommend George Plumbing Co, so if you need them, please call (210) 495-9991. Any other George is simply not worth your time. Oh, one more thing, the gentleman who runs the office, either Mica, possibly Micah, was very professional and took care of me as a military veteran. Thanks again. "We started a DIY to replace a toilet. We saw the builder’s plumber did a bad job on the flange. No screws to hold it down but a lot of glue. We had 3 plumbers come in to review and give us their input/quote. John explained what he wld need to do. The quote was reasonable. Best part, he wld not need to bust up the tile or go underneath the foundation. We are very pleased with his work along with his apprentice. We will recommend and use them again. Thank you. "

"The technician we hired was very polite. The price he quoted was 60 percent cheaper than the first bid I received, plus he addressed the original cause of the problem. Unfortunately, the workers used to dig up the yard to uncover the water line broke the pipe. That was on a Saturday at 1:30. I was told both brothers workers and by an automated email that my technician was on the way. After 3 calls to the company number over the next 6 hours to complain, all we got were appointments for Tuesday, then Monday, to return. We gave up. Our family of six were left without a firm answer by our technician. It wasn't till the next morning he contacted us to apologize. He hadn't received the message from the young call center people that we had been without water. He very graciously came Sunday morning and completed the we waterline replacement and other job requirements for us plus gave me a discount. Overall, the job was expensive, and the company not responsive, but the work well done. "
