"It went great! Although we paid quite a bit for this project (one 8' slider and one sidelight plus an entrance door to our garage) I was very impressed with the company in general --- I guess you get what you pay for! The salesman came out and we discussed the project. The installer then came out to measure and when I had hesitations, made other suggestions so that I would be happy. The salesman came out again and we re-did the order based on the installer's suggestions. The doors/window were installed just after Christmas and the workers were amazing! They took great care to make certain that the installation was correct -- even in our house of unevenness. I watched them build out the trim so that it would look nice and handle the challenges of our uneven ceiling with ease. In the end, I was very happy with the entire process. I was also very happy to see them take such great care in the clean up.. leaving it better than they found it! The only negative was the cost -- but they assure me it's guaranteed forever, even to the next owner, and even if I throw something at my husband, miss and break the window, lol."

"Jeff spoke to me in detail about the job before starting. Even after we settled on materials he called me on a Sunday night to say he found something that would work better for windows. I asked for some add-ons and changes along the way and he completed each of them. The work was beautiful. He took great pride in his craft. Very responsive during the construction. I got just what I wanted and am very happy with the finished product. A minor glitz with one window that I am confident will be resolved...I think he is one of those people who will do what is needed to make his customers happy. <br />"

"We were looking for an auto transporter to transfer an older (not classic) car from Virginia to Nevada. We did our due diligence and researched the potential companies that could complete the task in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Three providers were interviewed and quotes were obtained and, interestingly, we found that there was considerable differences in the information that was given and the commitments that were made. We delayed contacting Auto Transporters Online for over a week, cutting into "our timeline" significantly as the expense for the transport had three tiers of cost options, even though the lowest tier was comparable to the competitors. From the reviews read, Auto Transporters Online was a smaller company and there were less reviews posted on Angie's List and BBB. As it turned out, we should have gone with the initial "gut instinct" from the beginning and chosen Auto Transporters Online and saved ourselves from the resulting stress. This may be a small company in comparison to others, but this company offers a personalized touch and pride in a job well done, offering a true customer service model.  <br /> Our situation was apparently somewhat unique in that we wanted to ship the car from Virginia and have it arrive in Nevada at the same time (or a day or two later) that we arrived in Nevada (driving a second car). We were relocating and did not have a designated person to ship the car from Virginia or receive the car in Nevada other than ourselves so the timeline of travel was our limiting factor. The week of research (and frustration) had us at wit's end and ready to call it quits and look for an alternative method of getting both cars to Nevada.  <br /> Dave Miller was contacted by phone on the evening of May 11th and reacquainted him with our situation and the quote that he had provided over a week before and options available were discussed in detail. Dave was understanding of the situation and told us what he could and could not accomplish. He was personable, courteous and professional. We made the commitment and forwarded the paperwork to him that evening. By the time, we awoke and checked email the next morning, Dave had a potential driver that could pick the car up on the 12th (that day) and deliver it to Nevada within the time period desired with a 2 day flexible window. This was perfect! <br /> The car was prepared and picked up on the 12th of May from Virginia and delivered the 20th in Northern Nevada. There were no issues upon delivery. Contact with the driver and Dave Miller occurred throughout the 9 day period, either by phone or by email. <br /> We are very happy with the service provided by Auto Transporters Online and would not hesitate to contact them again. Dave Miller is trustworthy, personable, committed and professional. He provided exemplary customer service at a time when customer service is a misunderstood concept and delivered by very few. "Working with Aurora Stone's owners was a breeze. I had looked at Angie's List last (no idea why!) when I was on the search for countertops to go with our new cabinets. I had estimates from at least 4 other companies in the local area. I was disatisfied with a few company's lack of customer skills and even though they had the product I wanted, I was not comfortable investing $3000-$4000 in a company that didn't deserve my business. This was one of the reasons I was elated to find Sandy and her crew! <br /> She was very flexible with the meeting time as we had to go with our 18 month old and on a Saturday. The meeting was great and we picked out our stone on the spot and got the quote we wanted. I'll mention another reason I chose Aurora Stone: I was extremely honored and appreciative that they offered a Military discount. This 10% got the price down to our budget and we were very surprised to see the number even close to where we needed it as it seemed like Aurora offered a more superior product (1st cut premium grade granite) plus stellar customer service.  <br /> We had the contract all set and deposit made a few weeks before the template as we installed the cabinets. The template was done 2 days after the cabinets were done (I was hoping for same day template because we called ahead but that didn't happen, which is understandable.) Template was easy and crew was respectful and very knowledgeable. <br /> Counter was installed earlier than scheduled (which was great!) the following Wednesday after the template (which was the Friday before.) Install took less than 2 hours and the crew was, again, polite, respectful, and did a terrific job. There's one seam towards the corner and it's hardly visible.  <br /> We would work with Aurora Stone again in the future for sure and have been so happy with our results and overall interactions with this company. The countertops themselves, are amazing and much better than the previous laminate. I look forward to using them and taking great care of the natural stone. Thanks again! <br />"
