"Everything went very well, i.e., the consultations & purchase with Noel Smith in the showroom, the precise measurements, and the fabrication & installation coordinated by Donny the fab shop manager. Everyone involved in the process was very personable, professional & competent, and easy to work with. A few weeks after the installation, we noticed a minor flaw (knick) on the product which Donny was able to repair very much to our satisfaction. He also made an excellent repair of a knick that we had caused a few months later. He is very good at what he does. The company's product selection, attention to detail & customer service are all excellent."

They came out on a Saturday to provide a quote and scheduling the work was effortless. The technicians arrived prompted on the day of service and I did not have to remain at home for the work to be completed. "I called the warranty company Saturday afternoon, received a call a few hours later, and scheduled appointment for the next day. Was told I would get a call 30 minutes prior to arrival but didn't. Arrived Sunday, assessed the problem in less than 15 minutes, recommended new water heater, and measured scuttle hole. He said the order for the heater would be placed Monday, it would arrive Tuesday and he could come Wednesday morning. He called me Tuesday afternoon and said somehow it did not get ordered amd blamed the warranty company, then pushed repair to Wednesday afternoon. On Wednesday I again did not get the 30 minute call letting me know they were coming. The heater did not fit and I asked how, since he measured and the response was "I can't control what the warranty company gives me do you want it or not?" Some boards were removed and replaced to make it fit. The owner, I felt, was a bit hasty and rude but his employee was very nice and explained things well. Overall the job was done, took 4 days from the time I called to completion and overall was an ok but not great experience."

Our water heater had been in the attic since the house was built, about 15 years.  We had started thinking it was time to replace it, before we had an incident that would require drywall and paint.  Scott, The Water Heater Experts owner, is GREAT!  He came out to assess our situation and advised me on the pros and cons of tankless water heating. We decided to replace our existing tank with a new one, rather than installing tankless. Scott pointed out the items in the attic that would need to be brought up to code and included that in the replacement estimate. The new heater is the same brand as our previous one (Rheem, 50 gal) with some new features that Scott took care to explain.  Scott and an assistant brought the new heater and removed the old one, which I thought would be a real trick to get it out of the attic but I honestly did not hear them remove it and didn't even know it was done.  They shut off the water, drained the tank and made the code adjustments and installation in about 2.5 hours. I was completely impressed by how they approached the project and cleaned up after themselves. Because water heaters are a once every 10-15 year purchase, companies like these rely on recommendations rather than repeat business (although Scott guarantees his installations and supports any problems.)  I can say I highly recommend Scott and the Water Heater Experts!
