"Had our home renovated recently with the windows done as well. James made the whole thing very easy. He showed me at the appointment exactly what I was buying. The installation was completed yesterday and I am really pleased with everything. Also a big thanks for the install team for being careful around my new furniture and cleaning up."

"This employee-vested company excels in customer care. Even though their price wasn’t the cheapest for my window replacement, I went with this company because I like their values and their vibe. And I have absolutely no regrets! Carlos and Eddie finished the install in short order today and my windows are gorgeous! I would definitely use this company again."

"Very impressive! All phone calls and e-mail responses were very fast. This is very rare! All on site visits for estimates, measurements and install were punctual. The install team was very neat and fast and their post work cleanup was very thorough. Their level of service is very rare these days. I recommend them very highly."

"It was great. They were honest and up-front that the windows may not successfully open. But after almost two days of work, all but one window (that was broken upon inspection) now open. They are clearly experts in the intricacies of old, custom windows. They communicated issues that we might encounter while telling us how they fixed things. If you have any older windows that need restoration, then these guys are the best."

"Called Edi and he responded promptly with a price for the service I needed. I ended up replacing my garage door and I appreciate that he did the work fast and did it well. I couldn't use my door at all and he fit me in and did the job as promised. I live my new door. Feel I got a fair price. It was installed competently and neatly. I recommend Edi and this company."

"They were very conscientious and patient as I had to deal with the back and forth from Home Depot. It's a brother-sister mom and pop place, but the quality and professionalism far exceeded Home Depot, for example, a large corp. They were here when then said, they kept me informed of what was going on if coming late, they promised to call me with a cancellation opening in their schedule and they did, the quote and actual price matched, the wood looks good, and Jim the installer cleaned up everything - it looks like he was never here. They are the first I will call when I replace the rest of my windows!"

"Sales rep was knowledgeable and had a window example to show and brochure. Proposal was more detailed then other companies. Crew came a little late but knew what they were doing and worked fast. They did a great job of preparation and window installation. They removed old windows and cleaned up everything and demo'ed windows."

"C& M Windows provided us with accurate estimates.  Our windows were Superior Aluminium Windows. We have a Mid Century Modern design house with 20 windows some of which  reach to the peak of the roof.  We have 5 sliders. (79 -1/2 ")  Some additional fabrication <br /> had to be fashioned in order to accommodate where windows and sliders met.  <br /> The installers were efficient, on time and cleaned the working area.  Our living arrangements were not interrupted. <br /> C& M Windows Co  (Patrick Clarke) were very easy to work with, answered our questions promptly and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in having their windows upgraded.  We are also planning to have them renovate  our front entrance. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Valley Village, CA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
