"I am so happy that we found Krain Construction. Brian and his crew really brought our vision to life. We wanted to build 2 stories on top of an already existing foundation that only had a roof on it. We had a hard time finding someone to do it but Brian had no hesitation. He drew up a floor plan and we loved it. His crew built the new frame for our house, did the siding, doors, windows, decks, gutters, hvac. My husband and I are going to do the interior part of the house. If we had any issues we could easily text Brian and he would resolve them quickly. If we had any last minute changes, he would work with us. Very personable and professional. If we ever needed anything else done I would use them again and I would recommend to anyone needing a remodel. I will post some pictures of how our house started and how it is now that they’re done."

I needed my basement renovated ASAP and Mr. Anthony met with me in a timely manner explaining in great detail the work he would perform and how pleased I would be! Let me tell you he did NOT disappoint because he and his partner Mark performed what I call a â  miracleâ  in renovating my basement and went above and beyond my expectations!!!! Iâ  ve shown many the before and after pictures of what I now can call my family room and the response each time was how â  beautifulâ  of a job Anthony did!! "My husband and I were looking for a qualified carpenter who could take on all aspects of a major bathroom renovation except for laying the tile because we already had a tile guy to do that.  The positive reviews on Angie's List led us to Galen.  The fact that he could also do electrical and plumbing was a bonus.  His endless knowledge and abilities exceeded our expectations and we were very pleased with his work.  He always arrived on time, put in a full day's work, and cleaned up before leaving. Our master bathroom is beautiful and looks and functions like something you would find at a resort spa.  We have him on "speed dial" and will definitely call him again for any major or minor repairs our house may need.  We look forward to working with him again in the near future.

"This was my third time working with this contractor and each project was a pleasurable experience! As was the case with the other two, they started this project on time and finished on time! All the work was done according to strict Mount Lebanon code. They made suggestions based upon their experience i.e we wanted a six foot high shadow box fence but while Mount Lebanon code allows for a six foot high privacy fence of just about any style, they do not allow, by code, a six foot high shadowbox fence. Steve Hilpert proceeded to build us a 4 foot high shadowbox fence (the maximum height allowed by code) with a custom built 2 foot high trellis section which Mount Lebanon subsequently approved. The fence looks beautiful!
I was nervous about cutting a big hole in the wall of our addition to install the sliding glass door. Now the door looks like it has been there all along! It came out PERFECTLY!
The deck is also beautiful and solid as a rock! We had an issue with the location of our two central air conditioning units off the back of the house. The other contractors (which I found here on Angie's List as well) said they would just build over these units. Not knowing anything about central air conditioning this seemed reasonable to me. Steve was the ONLY contractor who told me that you absolutely CAN NOT block the air flow above the units! Not only that, he was honest enough to tell me that moving the units should be done by a qualified HVAC contractor. Now that is a contractor you can trust!
All work was completed on time and within budget. The same crew arrived early each day and were polite and professional. The job site was spotless at the end of each day!
If you are looking for a trustworthy, professional contractor, you can not go wrong with SC Hilpert!!!"

"Initially, I was pleased with the work done...the wait was minimal for them to put me on the schedule. The porch was power washed, repaired, resurfaced and sealed exactly as quoted. They cleaned up nicely too. And the results were like a brand new front step without any evidence that repairs were done. I've had a couple of issues since the work has been done...but the company has been very responsive to my issues. This last time the supervisor personally came and fixed the issues himself. Overall, I am pleased with the repairs to my front porch, and know if there are future issues, they will be resolved."

"These guys are not only pros—they are true gutter artisans. After a decidedly frustrating experience with previous roofers, who were at best sloppy but in any case showed no pride in work, working with Ryan Hankey and Always Perfect Contracting has been a breath of fresh air. The work was a challenging replacement of a decayed and rotting box gutter on a circa 1850s historic home on a steep hillside with 36 stairs. There was no way to save the box gutter. Ryan and his team of Jeff and Dino worked long days in high heat and humidity to get the job done in two days. Not only did they replace the gutter, they remediated some of the sloppiness perpetrated by previous roofers at no extra cost. I got three bids on this project, and although Always Perfect Contracting was not the cheapest, the level of craftsmanship more than warranted the price differential. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough—7 stars (out of 5)."

"During a day when everyone in Pittsburgh was having a leak, they were the only ones to call me back. They came that afternoon to stop the leak and rip out the small area of dry wall. They replaced the part of the roof that needed to be fixed within a week and also repaired the affected area inside the house within a week. I had to call them a few times to remind them to come back to finish the work, but the owner was very sick, so he had a good reason. The job was reasonably priced and they did an A+ job. Highly recommend.
