"Overall, we are very happy with the completed work and the quality of the windows.  Our installation was set up for an early Monday morning.  Unfortunately, it snowed shortly after the installation was completed, even though it took place in mid-April.  However, it proved to be a good test for the insulation of the new triple-pane windows because it was quite cold and windy that day.  We could already feel the difference, and felt assured that the installers added the necessary insulation that we were so sadly missing from the original construction of our condo building, as prior to that, we would have felt every draft.  I'm sure we'll continue to reap the benefits of the replacement as the hot summer days approach and of course, next winter.  Although we did not obtain additional quotes from other companies, we felt the price was fair for the quality of the windows and the workmanship.  The company also offers free financing for one-year, which is a huge plus.  The only minor complaint we have is that we felt that one of installers was trying to discourage us from completing the job that day, because of the inclement weather (windy and rainy, but not pouring).  Even though we told them it was fine with us and that we would prefer to still go ahead with the installation that day, because we had to stay on schedule with other household maintenance projects, we felt that his attitude reflected his disappointment that we still pressed on to have the windows installed that day.  As he was still trying to persuade us to change the installation, in the spirit of compromise, we suggested the next day as an alternate.   We were told there were no available dates remaining for that week to select as an alternate.  Since that was the week we had taken as vacation from our jobs, we then said that we would just need to go ahead with it that day, since they could offer no alternate within the next day or two. 
Having said that, the two installers were otherwise professional, did very neat and thorough work and completed the job in about six hours, and also cleaned up inside and out after the job was completed.  All in all, we were very happy with our choice in Excel windows, with their overall responsiveness and would likely use them again in the future.  The gentleman who came out to write up the sale and take initial measurements, and Julie at the office, were both a pleasure to work with.

"It could not have gone better ! I needed to have my outside window shutters painted. I was wondering who I could use and then I remembered that Modern View Kitchen and Bath Remodeling also did exterior painting. I called Mark, the owner, who redid a shower for me as well as added some new countertops, if he did exterior painting. He said that he did and that he could get to the job in a week. John, who is an excellent worker, came by. He took down the shutters cleaned them painted them and hung them back up. It was not a major job but Mark is willing to do jobs that are both big and small. I will not hesitate to use Modern View when I have another household project be it big or small."

I have not been involved in a renovation that does not hit snags. This project was no exception. Upon consulting with Jack we agreed that we had to take down and re install the shower tile.  Jack and his crew accepted it without hesitation and got right to work re-installing the tile.
