"The tech came out and said he had to put Dye in my unit that was down so he could find the leak . My one unit was low on refrigerant and had to put dye in than he added 3 pounds of refrigerant . He charged me $1,373.00 for this . Total rip off . I called my friend who runs a HVAC company and had him look at my one unit that Goettl serviced . There was no dye present in the system put in .The dye cost was $1,100.00, My new tech found the leak right away it was the coil outside that was leaking refrigerant and no dye was present it was just the oily refrigerant and found the leak immediately. So I got ripped off as the Goettl tech charged me for this and never put dye in the system. The tech checked the coils in the attic so he said . My tech checked the coils and took a picture of the plate that covers the coils and the screws still had the plastic over the screws so he lied about that because he did not even take the screws off to check it . I have a picture of the plate cover which he did not take off because the screws were still sealed with the plastic on them. So the Goettl tech lied to me about that also. So I got charged $1,373.00 for dye that I did not get , lied about checking the coils in the attic, and did not even check the coils in the unit outside . My tech has pictures , found the leak outside right away with the refrigerant leaking with no dye in it . So Goettl totally ripped me off $1,373.00 dollars . I would not use Goettl ever again . My friend who is in charge of HVAC in a business says the dye only cost him $90.00 to buy and I get charged $1,173.00 by Goettl for a service I never received . My tech said he did not need to use dye as he found the leak in the outside coils immediately on inspection . Goettl totally ripped me off and Iâ m fighting the charge as terrible service ."

I called them on January 10th due to a lack of heating in my home, and to date, I am still enduring the winter without any resolution. The utter lack of responsiveness from this company is nothing short of infuriating. This is not the first time I have faced such incompetence from King Mechanical. Last year, on November 14th, I encountered the same issue with my heating system. It took them until January to finally address the problem, leaving me shivering in my own home for an extended period. Unfortunately, it seems that history is repeating itself. What is truly baffling is their complete disregard for customer communication. Despite making numerous phone calls and sending text messages, I have yet to receive a response from King Mechanical. It's incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark and forced to endure the winter chill within the confines of my own home. It's evident that King Mechanical's lackadaisical approach to customer service is a recurring theme, and they seem indifferent to the inconvenience they cause. "The company answered my query within an hour after I submitted it through the site. They dispatched someone in an hour. Both were big pluses. The tech inspected my breakers, the A/C outside, and the air handler in my attic. He found a sensor was being tripped due to water buildup in a line? Why hasn't this happened once since I bought the A/C unit 5 years ago I wondered. The tech fixed the sensor and left. $170 or so. The same problem happened within a month. I called again. They dispatched someone else via text. Then shortly after they dispatched the same guy Matt that "Fixed" the sensor the first time. He checked it, disconnected it, and left it hanging down from my attic door. He said he'd need some nitrogen to blow out a line due to water build up and fix the sensor again. I never heard from him or anyone else again. The follow up from this company is non-existant. Also the "water issue" I found out was not a real problem from the 2nd company called."

"I called Thunder. They were very communicative. They thought they could come out on a Friday afternoon, but let me know they couldn't make it. They said Saturday morning. They let me know again they couldn't make it but could come Tuesday at 3. Points for keeping me informed. They came out on time. They figured out the last HVAC company was not telling the truth about my sensor that was shutting the unit off. The sensor was not installed properly. It was not getting tripped due to moisture. It should have been installed vertically but was installed horizontally with pictures they showed me. They left to get a couple parts, came back within the time they said, and reinstalled the piping so the sensor could be installed vertically. Vibrations would not affect it anymore. Glad to have them out. They also warranty their work for 1 year."
