"We hired Trace and his crew to not only remodel our kitchen, but basically to transform the entire first floor of our home. This project included removing a weight bearing wall dividing our kitchen and front room and consolidating it to one open space, remodeling a fireplace, and updating a half bath and laundry room. Trace was great to work with from initial discussions and design ideas, through working with engineers to ensure structural integrity, and bringing in other electrical and HVAC professionals to assist with this project. His crew is great to work with and have superior skills shown by the custom made lockers for the laundry room and mantel and shelves on our new fireplace. Their attention to detail and quality are second to none. Once the project began as planned, the crew was on the job every day until completed. You hear stories of contractors starting a job then leaving for weeks at a time wondering if they will ever come back, leaving your home in disarray, but this is NEVER the case with Trace and his crew. This was a major project that took just about 6 weeks of actual construction time, and I couldn't be happier with their performance and our new kitchen/living space. "We are doing a complete kitchen tear out and adding a breakfast bar in the dining room. This required all new lighting and removing of the existing soffits as well as extensive patching of the existing ceiling. I am very good at hanging and finishing drywall, but for the finish texture on the ceiling (1100 sq. ft.), I hire professionals. Neil is a true professional, beyond that he is an old school craftsman and artist. He handles his business on a handshake and accepts no payment until the job is done. He explains the process thoroughly and completely, and fully stands behind his work. He finished my job on a Friday and needed to come back and correct one small area, he was back the following Thursday to make the repair. Neil and Kevin were a delight to get to know and work with and have my highest recommendation."

"It went great. We contacted Tim at the store, and scheduled a service date and time. Tim took it upon himself to contact us the following day, to let us know that he could send a technician to our house even sooner, which we thought was pretty awesome. On the rescheduled day, our technician Mike called and let us know when he was 10 or 15 minutes away and he arrived when he said he would. Mike was courteous, friendly and very professional. He completed the job in short order and cleaned up afterward. (We have beige carpeting near the fireplace and you couldn't even tell he had been there-which made my bride very happy.) He answered all of our questions and made some good suggestions regarding the care and maintenance of our unit. Mike treated our home like it was <em>his</em> home, which earned him a <em>rock star</em> rating from us! We would definitely recommend The Place, if you ever need a Heat -n-Glow unit serviced.
