"After getting a bid from Cady this summer, I hired them to do some work on my house (clean gutters, install gutter covers I'd purchased and fix a piece of siding). They agreed to do the work on September 10 at 1:00 p.m. They didn't show, and they didn't return my calls over the next couple of days. I felt they wasted my time. I gave them an F rating here and moved on to look for other handyman companies. Except that finding another company turned out to be easier said than done (the ones I contacted didn't serve my area or didn't want to do work on a 2-story house or were booked for months). "We have been very impressed with the provider.  He is an excellent communicator and has kept us updated on when the work would be done.  Once scheduled, the work in our laundry room was completed very quickly.  We were not 100% sure on what exactly would look best for our room and the provider was very patient and diligent when helping us determine dimensions for the counter top and the walls.  The provider did a great job matching the paint to the rest of the laundry room and ensuring that the overall "look" was consistent with the cabinetry we had installed ourselves.

It took 90 minutes to do the electrical work and about 4 hours to complete the counter top.  The provider worked very cleanly and was respectful to our home.

"Service couldn't have been better.  Mike (I think his name was) was very professional.  He arrived while my wife was home and uninstalled the old water softener, installed a new water softener ($480), and connected the water line to the freezer's ice maker ($100).
All of this took a few hours.  By the time I arrived home from work, he was finished and showed me how to work the new water softener.
He was very polite the entire time.  I would definitely use their service for plumbing again in the future.

"Hal Morris had done other work at our home, so when I called him with the need for a fence, I knew I would get something unique. I needed a fence tall enough to keep the rabbits out of my vegetable garden, but short enough for me to step over, and with removable sections so I could get a roto-tiller or other equipment _into_ the garden. Hal designed a fence that fit the bill elegantly. The removable sections--which he designed with an ingenious bracket system--are sturdy and reliable. The fence is beautiful: I have probably gotten ten compliments on it from alley passers-by. Perhaps best of all, Hal convinced me to turn the back of the garden fence into a trellis for pole beans. This summer crop was a bumper one, and the trellis helped to make it so. If you need an artistic but practical solution to your fence or decking needs, employ Hal Morris."
