I got several bids on this job and H&H was a) the most responsive, b) extremely punctual, c) curteous and friendly, d) knowledgable, d) the lowest price and e) the shades are most excellent (top down/bottom up). While the other suppliers seemed qualified, H&H's price was about 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the competitors and their lead time (2 weeks vs. 4 - 8 weeks) were also a marked advantage. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

"Owner Mike was great from the first phonecall. I chose him based on his 'A' rating and good reviews on Angies List. He came out and did initial measurements, made recommendations and provided estimates for Amerimax and Milgard windows.  I did not obtain any other bids as I felt his was fair based on research done on the internet, and based on an' estimate' given to me by a contractor years back who did other work on the house. <br /> I went with the Amerimax vinyl double paned windows. Mike took care of obtaining the city permit and advised me of the inspection process.The windows and door were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. Work then started within a few days and was completed in three full days by Mike's crew of 3 who were awesome.  They were professional, courteous, on time and were able to work around the excessive amount of furniture and 'stuff' all around the house. They took care to move or asked us to move some fragile keepsakes out of the way.  They also made sure to clean up any dirt and debris throughout the process. <br /> Mike has been in the business many years and is very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him.  He and his crew provided experienced, quality, detailed workmanship.  My mother is very happy with her new windows and sliding door.  The house is now warmer, quieter and more secure.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

They have incredible knowledge of the products they sell and can guide you to exactly what you need. There was no attempt to upsell and in some cases they even talked me out of extras that I really didn't need. They are also flexible in fine-tuning the order to any changes in the types of window you need or specialty glass. And if there are any issues with the order or the install they work directly with the manufacturer to make sure these issues are addressed. <br /> The contractor they work with for the install also does an excellent job. They left a clean job site every day and made sure that the house was secure before wrapping up for the day. From the window installation to the work on the trim to the matching of the existing stucco, I can't say enough about the job they did. <br />"

"The installation crew was excellent. We are very happy with the quality of the windows/doors, and the manner in which the 2-person crew performed the installation. The only detractor in this contract was dealing with the installation crew's supervisor: he made 2 appointments to finish some minor work after the doors/windows and been installed, and failed to show on both times. On the third try, I finally called the owner of the company and received an immediate response. It was unfortunate that getting the details taken care of took 3 tries, since it detracted from an otherwise excellent installation."
