"I needed some plumbing work done in the house. I had a couple of estimates from some plumbers on fixing the problem. When Billy from Valdel Plumbing stopped by to give me his estimate for work, I was impressed. He gave me a reasonable price and really knew what he was talking about. One of the other plumbers was talking about digging into the cement to fix the problem. I had a slightly leaking drain line inside the house that needed to be fixed. I also needed him to fix some work I had done on the line years ago. Billy assessed the problem and set to work fixing the leak. While he was working on the drain line I also mentioned that I had two other problems. 1. The shutoff valves for the hot and cold water for the washer could not be turned off all the way so he replaced them with a single valve and fixed that problem. 2. I also had a problem that the main water shutoff valve wasnâ t working also so he replaced that valve also. He got everything done while he was there to fix the leaking drain on the same day. Itâ s refreshing that someone can be so flexible and work with the customer to solve their problems. Iâ m totally impressed with Valdel Plumbing and especially the quality of work from Billy. "They came and "finished" on time. Unfortunately, they inadvertently damaged a critical part, so the actual finish was delayed for two days. (They were chagrined and offered to provide window units, but most of our windows are smaller than their units, and they didn't have portable units, so we suffered.) The installers otherwise did a nice job. Also unfortunately, the weather turned chilly, so we haven't had a chance to give the ac a workout, so we can't comment on the functional quality. (It does operate, but the day's weather wasn't stressful.) We did get a number of discounts/rebates and payment terms on this middle-of-the-line unit, so we consider the overall financials fine."
