"His business card provides the name ‘Fast Eddie’, but he is more than ‘fast’. I think that he is the best Bosch appliance repairman that I have ever dealt with. I called, out of the blue, and described my problem with our Bosch SHE55 dish washer. The door handle had broken and I thought that I could buy a new plastic control panel cover and install a new door latch, thinking that it had hung up and caused us to exert more pulling than the plastic panel would take. I had bought the parts at Ross Appliance and had done my best to get them installed correctly. But, to no avail, there were several problems with my installation, including my lack of understanding of the impact of the ‘child lock’ on the washer’s wash cycle. Finally, in frustration I called Daily Home Solutions and got Fast Eddie, I explained my problem, he quoted me a fixed price and told me he could be at my home in an hour. He showed up, as promised, and proceeded to work systematically through the series of, unknown to me, problems that were embedded in my attempt at the repair, eliminating each one as it appeared in his diagnostic repair sequence. This man knows Bosch dish washers very well, has a systematic approach to finding and solving their operational problems, has the patience and concentration to stick with the problem search until all have been revealed and attended to. I will always call him first should I need another appliance repair. A devoted ‘Fast Eddie’ fan, James R Easter, Plum Borough"

"These guys are pros. I knew I would be paying a decent amount more, but I wanted the guaranteed quality and peace of mind. Initially, there was some back and forth with Chris trying to find convenient times for both of us to meet and schedule the estimate and walkthrough. Chris had to cancel on me for at least one meeting. This was no big deal though, I do believe he was pretty swamped at the time with other jobs and family stuff. After the estimate, Chris was prompt in returning calls for follow-up questions i had. For the most part, Chris and his team were very professional, and from start to finish the whole job only took about 5 working days. Also, due to some rafter repair work and roof decking replacement that Chris had to perform, I was charged an additional $1050 beyond what was originally estimated. After all work was complete, there was a bit of a mess left over (stray shingles, nails, and small construction items strewn about), but nothing too major. I would hire these guys again.

"Unfortunately not good. I had to put in a service call on three different occasions for the same appliance. Once in July, then again in August and in October. Each time I had to pay the service fee of $75.00. If it was repaired properly I would not have to continually call for repairs. However I do feel that this problem falls on the company that was contracted not Choice Home Warranty!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
