They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. We scheduled a time for him to come. I took the day off so I could be there when he came.
He never showed. Apparently I was the one appointment that was deleted when there was some kind of software issue with his Angie's list clients who bought the deal.
He apologized for the no show and scheduled the following Saturday. This time he didn't say he would come himself but that his "guys" would come - so I assume he outsourced the work. He mentioned that they could come as late as 11 as they had a job earlier in the day. He also said he would send me an email with all the details for all the wood I was supposed to go and purchase in advance of them coming. I didn't realize I was going to have to go shopping for lumber and was a little worried as I am not really familiar with this kind of stuff.
I never got the email.
On Saturday I waited for his guys to come - I hadn't heard anything, and still hadn't received the email. Around 145pm we decided not to wait any longer and went out for a late lunch.
He texted and asked where we were, that his guys arrived and we were not there.
After the no-show, the no-email and then not turning up on time I had given up.
Angie's list would not refund my money and I had to use it on another deal. I used Accurate Electrical and had a great experience ... so at least I have found my Electrical go-to out of the whole experience.
