"Everything about this project was great: getting an estimate, scheduling the installation, the installer, and the product. We should have added a Solatube to our dark hallway a long time ago. This was an excellent investment, and worth every penny."

"Brad and Zen Windows were great to work with throughout the entire process. They're very knowledge, accessible, straight-forward folks. We love the appearance, performance, functionality of our 15 replacement windows (Nirvana - Soft-Lite Classic). The pricing was very competitive with other similar sized outfits but a much better value than the larger ones (same quality of product and installation but lower price). Great experience overall and would definitely recommend."

"Just recently had a 48in x 48in egress window installed in our basement. The 2 gentlemen, Caleb & Graham were nothing short of awesome. I'm a retired carpenter and I can say their craftsmanship was second to none. Clean, precise. I was enjoying the perfect gape in our foundation and the framework even before they installed the window, because it was being done properly. Heck, even the hole they dug for the well was precise. Both Caleb & Graham were very friendly, communicative and courteous. Would use again and highly recommend."

"Third time we’ve used them for work on the house. Siding, roof and this time a full bathroom remodel. I can’t say enough good things about their staff, John, Larry, Brooke and the other members of their team. Very easy to work with and would hire them again for anything in the future!"

"AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!!!! For two year in a row, this company cleaned my gutters, and the service was terrible. Last year, I had to climb two stories to inspect the job their worker did on cleaning my gutters, and I saw that they hadn't been cleaned at all. He was at my house for half an hour. So, I called the company right away to demand that the worker get the job done right or I wasn't going to pay them. He went back up on the ladder and did the job right. I thought I would try them again this year. OMG, they did an even worse job of cleaning my gutters. The EZ worker was at my house for less than an hour, he walked around on my roof for half an hour pretending to clean my gutters. When he said he was done, I asked him did he want to use my water hose to power rinse the gutters with water. He said no, and that the gutters were pretty clean, now. This time, I didn't climb the ladder to check his work. I'm 63 years old, and reluctant to climb ladders at my age. However, several weeks later was on a ladder filling holes in cedar siding on my house. I happened to look in my gutter to be sure that fall leaves weren't clogging my gutters, and what I saw disgusted me ... my gutters hadn't been cleaned at all. I paid EZ Window Cleaners over $275.00, and THEY DID NOT CLEAN MY GUTTERS, even thoghh I paid them. They ripped me off."

"We can't recommend Jay and Falls Siding enough. The company was attentive. It was honest about when things could and couldn't be done. The work was excellent. The crew was careful and friendly. (Don't minimize this when someone is going to be at your house every day.) Jay will suggest when you ought to spend more and tell you when you shouldn't. This is contracting done the right way and I would enthusiastically recommend Falls Siding to anyone."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Waukesha, WI

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
