"Very happy with the work performed by Tony and his crew. Reason I went with them over my other quotes was that Tony pointed out a number of other problems with my system and fixed all of them during installation. The other companies didn't even notice them and even I could see that they would have affected my system's performance. Tony was very thorough with with his initial inspection and provided a detailed quote. He offered a number of options and made his recommendations, but wasn't high pressure at all like some of the others and explained everything in-depth. The installer, Ron, was professional and thorough. It was a two-day job and they cleaned everything up upon completion. Tony stopped by several times to oversee the installation. The inspectors commented that it was some of the best work they had seen and one said that he used Custom for his house based on their quality of work. Price was very fair for the amount of work and units I chose and competitive with my other quotes. AC has worked perfectly ever since and just waiting for the cold to hit and start up the furnace. "The Doctor Flue team came out to my place right on time (actually, early!) and called ahead with their ETA. They were respectful of my home, great to work with, and did a fantastic job checking my chimney and gas fireplace to make sure it was safe and in working order. They "reset" the hearth, added the necessary materials, climbed a 30 foot ladder in 20 degree weather to check my chimney and provided a very detailed after-action report along with photos to give to my HOA for repairs. Cannot recommend them enough, all around a very positive experience."

"I’ve used Michael twice now. The first time, he replaced a rotting old set of back steps and resealed the foundation along the side of our house. The second time, he fixed a dripping utility sink faucet and replaced a light switch in a crowded bathroom electrical box. Both times I was very impressed with Michael’s service. He is flexible and easy to schedule with—plus he was very patient when I totally mixed up my days of the week and had to change plans on him at the last minute! He comes when he says he will, does what he promises, and charges fair prices. He also makes sure the job is done right. After he fixed our steps, the gate into our fenced yard no longer latched (the gate had been installed to meet the edge of the old, sagging steps, and needless to say, the new ones don’t sag). When I showed Michael the issue, he immediately brainstormed a solution and came back a few days later to fix the problem. He is also very knowledgeable about his work, and he is very up front about what he is doing and why. I actually picked up some home improvement knowledge just from talking to him about the jobs he was doing for us (for example, he walked me through the light switch replacement as he did it). All in all, Michael is trustworthy, reliable, and does good work. I would certainly use him again and I recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman with a wide range of skills."
