"Avraham was the consummate professional and expeditiously returned my call on a major holiday (Labor Day) when I reached out to him and explained my emergency. I spoke with the FIrefighter who informed me that while he had to break two of my mother's lock, he was able to leave one lock undisturbed - however the stability of the door was greatly compromised with a huge amount of slack and the existing lock was off track -but able to barely lock. I arranged to have pictures sent to the locksmith and explained the door status as Avraham automatically inquired about it. It was during our discussion that I learned of Avraham's vast knowledge concerning locks and doors and I was impressed with his insights from experience as well as how he took pride in his craft after vetting two other locksmiths. Once my mother was stabilized, I decided and arranged for Avraham to arrive very early Tuesday morning and to give me a heads up call 1/2 hour prior to arriving. Avraham called as agreed, arrived on-time, installed a highly secure well known multi lock cylinder along with deadbolt, managed to miraculously align the door seamlessly with the new installation, and provided wise advice to discourage the use of an old chain lock - as Avraham explained to my mother and I - her chain lock which was broken could be a death trap and highly recommending removing it. He candidly made it abundantly clear that he unfortunately encountered many worse case scenarios with chain locks and senior citizens who had them installed to their detriment. Avraham also provided professional recommendations on another locking system that was still in tack but very tricky to operate. He took his time and with great patience spoke with my elderly mother and I. My mother and I highly recommend Avraham and would not hesitate to use his professional services again should the need for a locksmith ever arise again. I thank God that for taking care of my mother and we both thank God for Avraham as he provided my family with peace of mind, safety, and took his time to ensure that his work was done with perfection. "After our AC system was installed in our almost 75 year old Cape we needed a lot of restoration on the second floor where walls and ceilings had been opened for ductwork and the air handler and minor work needed to be done on the first floor.
Saul and his crew installed sheets of drywall on the sloped ceilings of the master bedroom and upstairs hallway and patched other walls and ceilings as needed. Due to the structure of our Cape Cod house and how the new ductwork, etc. was installed they sometimes had to be very creative in making these repairs to cover up cables, etc. especially in my tucked-under-the-eaves closet and they went above and beyond in restoring it.
The second floor air handler had been installed behind a knee-wall and required an access door: it took a bit of explaining and several magazine photographs but Andy built just the kind of raised-panel doors I wanted for a faux built-in cabinet to add to the colonial appearance of our bedroom. While the crew did not seem to have the experience of creating cabinetry from scratch and doing fine finish work they were easy to work with, open to suggestions and questions and in the end produced exactly what we had hoped for. I love it!
They painted hallway and stairwell, master bedroom and our large bathroom. We had them pull up wall-to-wall carpeting in three rooms and install hardwood floors. They refinished our original wood stairs.
We had three through-the-wall air conditioners removed with the walls restored inside and siding outside. We also needed repairs to the plaster walls on the first floor.
The whole crew worked efficiently and professionally. They were cordial and a pleasure to have in the house so many days.
