"We hired Steller Construction and Remodeling LLC to build a deck/Catio in May 2024. Micha (the Owner) was straightforward to work with and reach throughout the process. We are retired and live on a set income. Even though we had some lower estimates from other companies, we felt so confident with Micha's (the owner) ideas that, after looking at other reviews/images of this company, we decided to go with Steller Construction. Micha's team was absolutely amazing !!! Ray, our project's lead employee/carpenter, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and had an unbelievable work ethic! The rest of the team did an awesome job as well. They communicated well throughout the whole job always checking in with us to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were professional and very polite everyday. At the end of each they completely cleaned up the area. We have worked with one other construction company and a roofing company when we did some remodling on our last home and did not have a good experience with either company. We were very nervous about having to go through another bad experience. We were so pleasantly surprised that Steller Construction turned out to be a great decision! "I had a great experience with Luna Masonry (Jose did the work; he's also the owner). I called because there was a water leak coming into the ceiling of the 2nd floor of our older house, near the chimney. Jose came out the same day, got on the roof, diagnosed the problem and sent me pics of the area of the leak with a quote (it was reasonably priced). He did a great job. Jose is pleasant and professional, and he's any excellent craftsman. I'd use him again, without hesitation. "

"Had a sprinkler system installed on about 1/3 of an acre in the spring of 2022 with a 3 year guarantee. They were prompt about coming out, giving an estimate and taking a payment. Poor communication following the install regarding operation. Problems with water reaching all areas of the grass were downplayed. After repeatedly not answering texts or phone messages I was berated by Mr. Hawk for being "Mr. Difficult". I ended up buying and changing 3 sprinkler heads so that water would reach everywhere and eliminate brown spots. Terrible customer service !"

"Ron was great contractor to work with. He and his team provided a high quality product and at reasonable price point. He was easy to communicate with and flexible to meet our needs/desires. He was also very transparent and honest and all work was done according to stated timeline. Definitely the best contractor that I have worked with and look forward to working with again."

I am skilled in all forms of basic home maintenance as well as general remodeling. I am familiar with anything from appliance repair to adding a deck. In the past I have remodeled several older homes which involved basic carpentry, drywall, painting as well as small appliance repair .

"The MasterDecks team did a wonderful job on my front deck! Everyone I interacted with was very knowledgeable and professional. It was easy to communicate with them and they were very responsive to all my questions/comments (the daily logs and pictures were great!). They constructed the deck well, doing all the extra things needed to make the deck last, like placing gtape on top of the wood support beams, adding extra screws in critical areas, etc. I would highly recommend this company to others!"

"We are happy with the overall quality of the job, but it was frustrating and painful getting there. There was zero communication unless we initiated it from start to end. The job started late and took much longer than we were told it would. It wasn't surprising that it took so much longer since workers were not here full time, barely half time. We expected them to be onsite daily once the job started, but we were lucky if we had anyone working three days a week and they were never full days. Days would go by without anyone onsite. We would make phone calls to find out what was going on and there was always some excuse. The work crew left an ever-growing junk pile in our backyard which the owner Rick finally had hauled away once we asked him to toward the end of the job. We were surprised to learn at the very end of our project that painting was not included. It would have been nice for Rick to let us know that painting was not included in our bid so that we would have been able to plan accordingly. Instead we were left in the middle of the rainiest month of the year to try to protect the wood on our new patio cover until we could get a painter lined up. It also added an unexpected $2,500 to the job which would have also been nice to know too. What made it worse is that we discussed the painting portion several times with Rick throughout the job and there never seemed to be any question about it being part of the job until the very end. I do have to highly praise the "other" Rick, however, who did all of the woodwork on the patio cover. He was the best part of the whole job. He was a hard worker who produced quality work and a great person to work with. Once he started the job wrapped up quickly and he made sure we were happy with the work he did. As a side note, no portable toilet was ever onsite for the work crew for what became an almost 2 month job."

"Oregon Landscape gets our highest possible rating for their professionalism, work ethic and, most importantly, the final product. From the first day we met with Mike, our expectations were exceeded in all aspects. They have always been immediately responsive and timely and always showed up every day until our project was complete. We had a complicated irrigation system that needed to be completely overhauled; massive drainage challenges; installation of a 5-foot, cascading waterfall feature; pool edge coping and concrete patio work; retaining walls with rock face masonry and drainage, landscaping lighting (including submerged lights in our water fall feature); and more that all were completed beyond our expectations. The work product is second to none. We are so very happy with the job Oregon Landscape completed for us and couldn't give a higher rating and recommendation to anyone in the Portland area who is contracting for a large landscaping project."
