You won't find a better computer technician/computer builder than Jim Ferrell. I have been using his services for years and he has come to my rescue many times. When my computers crash, he helps me recover my data when no one else can. Recently he built me a computer specially designed for my needs and it works great. He got me better quality parts than they give you at places like Dell, and at really great prices. He has made house calls for me before and he has fixed my computer remotely via Internet access many times, which is very convenient. Other companies on the Internet claim to provide computer repair service via Internet access, but many of them are scammers (I have fallen prey to that myself, and my computer crashed as a result) but Jim is honest and trustworthy, so know that you don't have to worry about him taking advantage of you in any way. He will even take the time to teach you how to avoid scammers and other malicious things like viruses, which most computer technicians won't do. I recently purchased his monthly maintenance services. Every month he checks out my computer via the Internet and scans for anything malicious and looks at the overall function, and now I can rest easier knowing that Jim is watching over my computer's health. "I first contacted Heitmeyer-Handyman to repair a broken window in my son's room. Mike answered the phone promptly and came to my home within a couple of hours to look at the job. He quickly gave me an estimate for the work and we agreed he would return the next day to repair the window. He was as good as his word, arriving the next afternoon ready to work. He finished the job quickly and cleaned up the work area nicely. I was well satisfied with the price and quality of the repair. A couple of weeks later I again contacted Heitmeyer-Handyman to install two storm doors for me. Mike was extremely helpful, giving me advice as to where to purchase the doors and what to look for. We agreed that I would purchase the doors at Home Depot, and he would pick them up and put them on for me. After I bought the doors, I called Mike and we arranged for the work to be done. Again, he arrived on time and ready to work. He picked up the doors, brought them to my home, and then installed them expertly. As with the window, he cleaned up the work area very well. I have no doubt that I will use Heitmeyer-Handyman again in the future. Mike is courteous and professional, he does great work, and his fees are very reasonable. I already have a list of additional jobs I want him to help me with in a few weeks. I give Heitmeyer-Handyman my highest recommendation."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
