"They were very quick, extremely helpful with my questions, and incredibly nice - especially since it was near 0 degrees fahrenheit, and they worked through New Year's Eve and New Year's Day (which was the crew chief's birthday!) - so this review is long overdue. <br /> Not only that, they were understanding when I explained that I could not pay the entire balance up front, and offered me monthly payments - WITHOUT INTEREST!! - after I paid the deposit, which was a reasonable percentage of the entire bill. Working with them through the payment period was very easy. At one point, we disagreed on how many payments I had left, and we were able to resolve the question by going back through the records together and finding their mistake. They were very nice about it - there was no defensiveness and certainly zero rudeness. <br /> I feel like this is a business that cares not only about doing good work, but about the people they serve. They're the only ones I'll let near my chimney. <br />"

"I used Aquatech when my home literally froze this past winter. Under very harsh conditions Zack and his team put in a Herculean effort to replace my oil furnace and repair baseboard heating and water plumbing to bring the house back up to operating conditions. I consider Aquatech to be a “Best in World Class” company! Office personnel, Julie stayed in constant contact and very helpful. Zack has been excellent in doing his work, communicating, and providing advice! I highly recommend this company. A true pleasure to work with. And they do a great job!"

"Excellent! Devon was very professional and knowledgeable about all work needing to be done. He was efficient and quick to work us into his schedule so we were not without hot water long. Would hire him again in a second."

FAQs for gas piping projects in West-lebanon, NH

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
