"The project went extremely well. Dennis kept in contact with me to let me know when the project would start, called during the work to keep me posted on how it was going, and let me know when it was done so I could inspect the work. I was only able to stop by the home a couple of times during the installation but when I did, Dennis did a walk around with me so he could show me everything and get my input. <br /> At the time I met with Dennis in the spring, I talked to him about this house having a full basement and that I wanted to have clear plastic window well covers over the basement window wells. These covers wear out and need to be changed from time to time and I expressed concern to Dennis that I did not want to have to drill holes in the steel siding to attach these. He came up with a plan for attaching the window wells that circumvented this problem. At time of installation, he put his plan for the window well covers in place and it looks like it will work well. <br /> I am incredibly pleased with the job Dennis and his Dand N Siding did on this house. It looks beautiful and numerous people have stopped by when I'm there to tell me how nice it is. It's a very pricy investment to make but needed to be done and I feel confident that having Dand N put on steel siding was the way to go. <br /> I would highly recommend Dand N to anyone needing siding on a home or business. <br />"

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"Because of the distances involved we had to work out a plan for his availability and ours but he was very easy to work with. He even came and removed our old shingles on a Sunday to work with our schedule . <br />"

"This company was great to work with.  Knew the ins and outs of insurance, connected me with the insurance certifier, and was prompt in the service.  They came to my home to replace the windshield, and cleaned up afterwards.  I chose this company because of home-service, pre-approval by my insurance company, and because they could do the job the day I called.  The windshield was original factory equipment which is important. <br /> <br />"

"The window is in a home that was custom built 5 years ago.  I (and Rocky) could not find any marking in any of the windows that would indicate what company made these. He took the window parts to his shop and tried to modify the mechanism.  He returned, but unfortunately it didn't work. <br /> He went back and somehow found another similar window mechanism by another brand.  After minimal modification, the window was good as new. <br /> He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful.  I believe he may have undercharged me for the parts and labor.  I think his business is relatively new. <br />"

"I moved here in the fall of 2008. The movers caused a hinge on a 40 cubic foot heavy glass & mirror display case to break. For the next almost  5 years I called about every glass & cabinet stores within 50 miles...with absolutely NO results (either they didn't show up or they "couldn't find" the hinge...altho I told them the hinge didn't have to match the rest). I found the Glass Doctor shop by pure happenstance ... they came out within about 3 days...looked at the cabinet & broken hinge...ordered the correct hinge...and had the hinge & door reinstalled within about 5 weeks!!!!! They charged only $60.00 labor & $80.00 ... with NO additional trip charge. They are  FANTASTIC !!!! <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in West Yellowstone, MT

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
