"After dealing with one other windows company delivering an aggressive sales push apparently characteristic for this industry, it was a pleasure to interact with Matt Rotondi, the owner. He provided all the information necessary, in addition the helpful online information, before making the sale, and there was no pressure for the more expensive models. He continued to be highly responsive and courteous even after we signed on the dotted line. The installation of 26 windows was done by a contracted team on the days it was scheduled to be done, and everything went well. The windows look very nice and provide the improved insulation we were hoping for. Obviously only time will tell how they hold up in the future, but I have full confidence that Matt will honor the warranty that should cover any potential issues. After the installation, one of the windows was hard to open and another one had a very small dent, probably from the delivery, but he fixed both issues without discussion. I recommend Zen Windows without any hesitation."

"Initial sales process went well. Estimate included itemized pricing of each window. Financing explained (and written) in clear simple language. Installation was when things started going downhill. Our most expensive large bay window was installed with a broken lock. It would was the installer who actually brought it to our attention. We were told customer service would follow up with us. A bathroom screen had a hole in it. Again installer was aware of problem. Overall installation was sloppy. I received an email from a Window World rep requesting a review. We told the rep about our unresolved issues with installation and told her a review would be forthcoming after we heard from customer service. This person apologized and again told us a customer service rep would call us That was on Feb 11 2022. No word yet from customer service. Not happy and cannot recommend."

"I strongly advise against using Greater Boston Roofing (GBR). During a roofing project associated with a solar panel installation, GBR caused significant water damage to my home due to poor flashing on the side of the roof. While the solar panel company did cause separate damage to a different part of the roof, the issues caused by GBR were entirely unrelated and resulted from their own subpar workmanship. After multiple attempts to get them to address the problem, GBR finally visited and acknowledged the flashing was inadequate. They returned to fix it, but they failed to repair the extensive damage their poor workmanship caused, including water stains, ceiling cracks, and rotted sheathing (plywood and 2x4 supports) hidden beneath spray foam insulation. This damage only became apparent later when the house developed a severe mold smell. Rather than take responsibility, GBR repeatedly shifted blame onto the solar panel company, despite clear evidence of their own mistakes. Communication was atrocious—it took over a year of constant effort and countless hours to get them to inspect the damage. Although they admitted face-to-face that the issues were their fault (and fixing the roof above the damage), they later sent me a letter denying any responsibility for the damage it caused. This company cannot be trusted to stand behind their work or treat their customers with integrity. If you value quality and accountability, I strongly recommend choosing another contractor."

The windows turned out great- and for a fraction of the price another company quoted in the Boston area. Highly recommend United Better Homes and hope to use them again for a roof or new doors."

"Good Day Window Nation Staff, I'm writing today (1/23/2021) as an unsatisfied customer. November 25, 2020 the installers from your company came to my home to install my new windows. The order was to have nine new replacement windows in which only eight were installed unproperly. I was not pleased with the outcome of the installment, as the work was very poor craftmanship. The issues ranged from sloppy installation to incorrect sizing, showing a lack of professional work backed by your company’s name. I would also like to mention, there was a language barrier which caused more frustration. Since 11/28/2020, I have contacted the corporation numerous times, with no positive outcome, until late December, another representative with your company came to inspect the windows. There was no remedy to the situation, no written reports left to reassure me something was going to be done to correct these drafty poor craftmanship windows. I expressed my irritation with the work, how the draft during the winter months was putting more stress on my heating bill. It is now end of Jan 2021- and there is still no resolution."

"I researched window replacement options and installers for almost two years before deciding to contract with Bruin. We have a nearly 30-year old 2-story colonial house that was built with all wood windows, and the windows have been failing for years. They were drafty, no longer moved up and down, and this past winter snow even blew into the house in one of the windows. "Lucas promptly viewed the roofing issues we were experiencing and provided a written proposal for the work. He suggested we visit a nearby roofing project to confirm our shingle color selection. The work was started quickly with material delivery and use of a large trailer instead of dumpster due to concern for undergroud utilites and irrigation. His crew arrived early and worked quickly and efficiently to strip the old roof and carefully inspect the conditrion of the plywood. Great care was taken to protect landscaping. The crew worked until dusk and cleaned up the entire area is preparation for the follwing day's work. The project involved some 25 square of materials and was complete in 1.5 days total. Lucas stopped by after the crew left to check the work, confirm clean up was satisfactory and answer a few questions we had. Very pleased with the work!"
