"Before choosing window king we had several companies come to our home. Pella, power and another smaller company. Then we had Sam from window king come by. Sam was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was patient with answering questions. We were impressed by the fact that he never pressured us to make a commitment. Afterwards I read many reviews and even looked up the okna company but we still weren't sold.. So I spoke with Sam again and he offered a better deal on the windows so we moved forward... Lisa called me to make arrangements.. when the mechanic came to take the measurements I was out and my daughter didnt give the proper instructions so they were wrong.. Again i spoke with Lisa and she had him come by and remeasure I was extremely grateful. After a couple of weeks I was wondering about the windows so I called and to my surprise Sam whom I was so impressed with was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me.. I was so angry I wanted to cancel my order but Lisa spoke with me and was very apologetic. The next day Nick (the owner) called he was apologetic as well. He expressed how important customers are to him snd did everything in his power to correct the situation. During the next couple of days I got several calls from Lisa letting me know when the windows would come and who would install them. The day of install Rafeal, Anthony, and Shorty as they called him came on time, and ready to work. They did an awesome job Anthony worked especially hard.. The windows look amazing... They worked straight through and man it was hot that day.. they also cleaned up after themselves. Honestly had it not been for Lisa I would have gone elsewhere. She saved the day or sale.. Her customer service is amazing and to me seemed genuine.. I also wanted to mention that Nick came over while the windows were being installed and spoke with me again. If your looking fo windows that look great, and are installed professionally and efficient this is the place to go.. Just avoid Sam.. LISA, NICK, AND THE GUYS WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE ME HAPPY. He did a masterful job and left the place completely clean at the end of the day. The next day Carlos, Ron's glass block installer, arrived on time and stayed late to keep to the schedule Ron had outlined for us. The next day he also arrived at the agreed upon time and completed the installation exactly as Ron had outlined. We're delighted with the quality of work we received from Eastern Glass Block. "2 men arrived right on time. They were polite and ready to work. They actually work for a bigger company that either owns Clearity or is subcontracted by Clearity - it wasn't clear (no pun intended). Regardless, the 2 guys that came got right to work and did a remarkable job on my many, many window. I have a combination of the ones that can fold down into the room for cleaning and large picture windows which required them to hang out the window to clean. They did not have any safety equipment to make sure they didn't fall out (I'm 9 stories up) which was the only negative I found. They're a bit pricey but they were worth the money because they did such a good job and totally cleaned up after themselves. I have 18 2-pane windows, 4 picture windows and 17 screens that they cleaned for a total of $481.00. It took them about 2 hours to complete the job."

Mr. Mastrototaro (owner of Talex, Inc.) was bar none the finest craftsman and contractor we have ever have, He takes painstaking care to make sure that everything is cut and measured and installed to perfection, as well as oversaw the larger installations of the rood, siding and doors and ensured us that everything was done in both a timely and professional manner. <br /> For example, our home is surrounded by specimen trees and plantings. He made sure that they were protected from the roof and siding debris that was removed and that workers did not tread where plantings were hidden (since it was December everything lay dormant) and could have been damaged. After the conclusion of every workday, our home was broom clean as well. My husband even commented that it might have been cleaner than usual. <br /> When there were unexpected delays due to inclement weather or material delivery scheduling, he reschedule his work plan, and always contacted me in a timely fashion. I also appreciated that prior to installing any of the building material he measured, remeasured and corroborated all of his measurements with the stats provided by the building material's manufacturer insuring us that this was top quality work. His attention to detail, down the the fraction of an inch, may have slowed down the reno project but the result is a brand new 70 year-old house. <br /> There are a few minor items left on a punch-out list and I have no doubt that they too will be done and with the same professional attention to detail. <br /> We cannot thank Mr. Mastrototaro enough for making this process (although interrupted a few times) easy and we are enjoying and taking pride in our new old home once again. "First and foremost the installer called the day before to confirm the appointment and showed up on time.  Work began as soon as the installers were on site. There were no delays with setup and they cleaned up nicely after the job was completed.  The boiler job took about 8 hrs to complete but the guys were very professional and neat, which means a lot to me because I have carpet in my home.  The window and door took about 2/3 hours to complete. The guys came in, completed the job, cleaned up all materials and garbage upon completion.  The crew was very friendly and explained everything in detail before, during and after the work.  <br /> Another plus, if you call the company for any questions, you always get a call back the same day or a live person on the phone. <br /> If you are looking to do any renovations in your home this company comes highly recommended."

"The men responded promptly to my husband's call and set a date to install the shower doors, which we had ordered from an out of state company and which had already been delivered. They came promptly - in fact, they adjusted their work schedule to accommodate a doctor's appointment which my husband had to keep. They followed the manufacturer's directions for the installation procedure, made the minor adjustments to the doors which were needed, and installed them perfectly. They worked carefully and efficiently and removed all debris when the job was completed. Payment to this company must be made by check; they do not accept credit cards. We were very pleased, and highly recommend them. We would definitely hire them again."

"Overall, the experience was great. They were very good; they had to repair some pipes in the back yard until 7 or 8pm. The price was reasonable; they had to run to home depot to get the pipes so they were able to finish the job that day. They went above and beyond. The work was done a few years ago and I haven't had a problem. I'm happy with their services."
