"We just purchased our first home and while we love the home, we are pretty sure it had the original garage door on it from the late 90s so our top priority was replacing the door and opener both . I got quotes from several companies two weeks ago, but when it came down to it, I had a much better experience with Champions Garage Door repair and felt we would be better taken care of. They scheduled a pre visit to come measure the door on Monday, which was quick and made me feel more confident for our appointment. Then Tuesday, Dave and Jose came and installed the door. I called his company to give me an estimate on replacing a front portico and after receiving his estimate and a couple more I realized I needed to put some more money aside. While he was there I asked if he could replaced my 32 year old deck boards and stairs.

I got an estimate for the deck which was more than reasonable and signed the contract.  Within two weeks his crew was at my house and finished the job in one day.  I asked if they could stain the deck and railings and he said it would be no problem. A couple of weeks later my deck was stained and again it was done in a day.  The deck staining was $560 extra but the old deck looks like new.

"Everything went great! Lindsay called promptly after I purchased a deal on here. Once the work was scheduled Joel came out to do the work. He was on time and showed me tons of issues with what needed to be repaired. He gave me detailed information on why it cracked and let me know that it would happen again if not done correctly. He gave me a quote for a new stone walkway and porch that was more than fair having known several people to have the same work done with other companies. I plan on taking them up on the work in the future for sure just coudln't swing it after the holidays. Both Lindsay and Joel provided everyhing I hoped for given the companies great reputation.

"They did a great job. Had them take out stairs, install new stairs; kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel; bedroom remodel; and paint. Priced really well and the work was excellent. I highly recommend them."

"They were scheduled to replace the outside lights that we have, and fix the fixture in the bathroom. The electrician came, and he said that he didn't have a part in his vehicle, and so he went to Home Depot for 45 minutes to look for it. He looked at the inside fixture, and said that he thought it was a light switch, so he replaced the light switch, and the light was still flickering, so he looked at it and said he couldn't repair it. He didn't repair the light fixture in the bathroom. He just screwed the bulb in tighter, and it didn't flicker for a day or so. I had to call an electrician locally to do that, and it cost me more money. I can see the benefit of Angie's List, because this guy was charging me 110 Dollars to show up. I thought I should call Angie's List to say that it wasn't fixed, but I thought I will just have it done locally. I accept that, and I will know better next time. I wasn't happy that he couldn't fix the inside fixture. I think the price was good, and it would have been great, if he had done the other."
