"I had used Rytec March 2017 for a big job (about 2,300.00) and was very pleased. This time, not so much. Simple request for to add two dedicated receptacles in my mudroom. Showed the guy where I wanted them installed. He insisted I install a quad instead between the two desired locations. He cut a hole in his chosen location only to find it was in the middle of a stud and not doable. He attempted to relocate but could not finish the job without help. He assured me someone from his office would contact me to have his wall boo-boos repaired. A week later two came from Rytec to finished the installation but insisted they were not responsible for previous installers damage to my wall but ASSURED me someone from their office would contact me and make it right. Never heard back from Rytec. Quad Outlet works perfect but I wanted and was willing to pay for two regular outlets located approximately 2 foot apart. Customer needs and follow up service was lacking on this job. Would hire again if they make good on repairing previous damage tech agreed they would repair."

Mr. John Sherlock arrived at the time and date specified to give us an estimate.  He returned the following day with his assistant and performed the job in one day.  He installed 26 copper lightning rods on the flat roof of our 7,000 square foot home.  These rods were connected with 500 feet of heavy duty copper cable and were grounded at three points with ground rods going down through the drainpipes into the ground. All parts of the system were securely attached to the roof.  He did a neat job and cleaned up all excess materials.  We were very pleased with the job him did.  Since installation of the lightning rod system we have had no trouble with lightning striking the house or causing power outages or surges.

"Capt. Electric called me as a referral from Home Advisory. They came out within an hour of the call because the power kept dipping in our home. We were astonished to learn after a few short minutes of their arrival that the house electrical panel was short circuiting inside because poor workmanship of the builders electrician. For 10 yrs we have lived in this house, having replaced appliance after appliance going bad never realizing it was not because of bad appliances but from electrical surges from the panel. The circuit breakers were hot to the touch, the panel box behind them had black smoke scarring and the main connection that brings the electric into the house were melted into the connections. The electrician looked like a ghost when he opened the panel box and saw what was going on. Needless to say everything had to be replaced asap. He turned off power to everything except the refrigerator, freezer and a few lights. We had to stay in a hotel overnight because it was too dangerous to have the ac running. They were back early the next morning to replace everything and did it was such precision, you would have thought they were surgeons. I am a senior citizen and they treated me with respect and courteousness and did the repairs needed in a manner as if it was for their own family member. The electrician told us we were so lucky that our house had not burned down long before now, that he had seen a lot less do more damage. God was looking after my home and when it came time to make the repair I was sent Captain Electric. Thank you so much for a job well done."

"I called them out because I was having flickering lights and the breaker that was tripping. When they came out, they found that my devices were what they called backstabbed. They found that my switches were broken from heat which is due to excess voltage in the electric. I ended up getting a whole home free device as well as surge protection. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
