"Overall great experience. From scheduling the estimate to the job completion, Tom was very responsive during the entire process. His crew did a very nice job getting my son's room taken care of for me and didn't leave me a huge mess to clean-up afterward. I had drywall repair from a leaky window, peeling wallpaper, and painting of walls and ceiling. Tom even called after the work was done to make sure it was done to my satisfaction. Would definitely consider for future interior painting work."

"Turned out better than I ever thought. He was very patient with me as it is a women's choice to change her mind. He made suggestions when when he thought mine would not work. With 30 years experience he knows what he is doing and I respect his opinions. The only negative was it took longer than we thought. But in all fairness we did add some things that we had not planned on. <br />"

"The job was performed exactly as bid. Started on time every day. The work was excellent in every respect. The steadily working crew was managed on site by Antonio Torres, a true and amiable professional. Company owner, Mike Roby, was on the job site for at least and hour every day and was not adverse to participating in the work himself. He was very responsvie to my requests, and made a very reasonable charge for additional work. He even did a few extras at no charge. The crew was very thorough and precise in masking, coverage and clean up. It was a pleasure to work with such group of professionals."

"Geremy came and gave a competitive bid. The bid was a bit on the higher side, but it felt as if he knew what it took and didn't want to compromise on quality. His team (especially Nick) then came and did a good thorough job and now the shower looks very good. Though there were others that had bid a bit lower, Farha Home Trends seemed to be the best mix of price and quality to me. For something as critical as a shower to get right, I did not want to take chances in quality."

"Jon has completed work for us on two seperate occasions.  He went above and beyond to assure we understood  what was needed and the cost.  We required some shingles to be replaced - he did the research and purchased them for us then made the necessary repairs.  He also changed some outdoor flood lights (high up) and power washed our gutters.  Everything was done in a timely way and with professionalism.  We will use him on all occasions that require a Handyman. "

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Whitewater, KS

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
