"This company did a wonderful job on the pavers for the patio. It seem to be a difficult job due to the slope we have in the back yard. They executed the job great. We are very happy with the results. I would recommend them to my family and friends any day."

"After interviewing 3 different landscape companies & considering 2 others, we decided on Haddad Landscaping. This is primarily because John Haddad, the owner himself, arrived equipped with business documentation, examples of their work, & prepared to answer all of our questions. He took the time to walk through our property, listen to our concerns, and measure potential site work. Haddad initially indicated somewhere around a 2-4 day time frame & a moderate price tag to complete the work. John Haddad returned a few weeks after the initial quote since some time had passed between interviews with other companies. Haddad prefers to do stonework but are not afraid of taking on basic landscaping work too. The work crew proved to be a young motivated duo whose optimism & strength outpaced the brutal June heat. They graciously accepted our offers of cold bottled water at times & stayed the course which included removal of a dozen tough thorny midsize bushes, 2 small trees (including one ugly 8 foot+ buckthorn, shrub trimming, and a few other laborious tasks. The whole crew was friendly though I believe the work was more than they anticipated. Although not the least expensive quote, we believed Haddad Landscaping met our early Summer season need for a tremendous jump start on the overgrown & over planted yard in our new home."

"Need kitchen countertops to complete our kitchen remodel. Went to their shop early on a Sat. morning and was given direction to proceed with the project. They are a professional, busy shop that you can readily observe, Located on Grand River, just east of Wixom Rd. They do have granite slabs available for purchase, but we wanted a particular color. We ultimately found the granite at Tand M Granite in Farmington Hills. The owner of Granite Creations, Steve Stanley, arranged to have the granite transferred to his shop. Process only took 1-2 days! We arranged to have our kitchen measured by Granite Creations. The installation took place about 2 weeks later. The are a high-quality operation that can be trusted! I would use them again."

"Jake and his crew did an exceptional job. He fit me into his schedule quickly. We met to plan out the project and design details. He built a sample and then tweaked the final design. The crew was careful inside and outside not to make a mess. Their work was great quality. I am already planning additional projects with New Life Custom Carpentry. We are incredibly pleased with the work."

"<p>As I said before, Jesse is not only a fine wood craftsman, but there's nothing he can't do. He can make his own cabinets, doors, mantles, virtually any custom creation you can dream up. I've recommended him to friends for all types of custom jobs and everyone was completely satisfied.  I would trust him for any remodel project, custom build, or something as simple as putting crown moldings in your house.  He's a very friendly, clean-cut, polite, and honorable contractor.   </p> <p><br /> </p>"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Whitmore Lake, MI

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
