"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"He does AC, heating and he's going to do more work for us this week as far as putting in a hot water heater. He also does plumbing and handyman work. He is a licensed AC/furnace contractor. He's very honest and extremely reliable. He covers the entire area. He's really exemplary. The stripped the copper wiring out of the garage out of the hot water heater and all of the copper that ran from the AC into the house. We paid him and made arrangements for him to come back Wednesday."

"Mr. Hardin was recommended to me by my realtor to make some repairs to the soffit and fascia of my house.  The front fascia had a large rotted area that had allowed some decorative curved soffit to fall down, leaving a large hole exposing my attic to squirrels.  The back of the house had a small piece of fascia that had been pulled off during a large windstorm. <br /> I contacted Mr. Hardin, and we scheduled a time for him to look at the areas and discuss an estimate.  His estimate was in line with what I expected, and the final price was within that estimate.  The work was for repair of the wood only, no painting or priming involved.  The work in the front was at first-level ceiling height, and the work in back was along the top of the roof line, approximately a second story height. <br /> He was able to complete the job while I was at work and sent me a text when he completed the tasks along payment information.  Upon coming home and inspecting the work, it looked like it was done neatly and properly, and I was very satisfied. <br />"

FAQs for thermostat installation and replacement projects in Wichita Falls, TX

Smart thermostats may be worth it for many homeowners. They come with various features, including voice control and smartphone apps. Vacation mode can help lower energy usage when you’re out of town for an extended period. Alert warnings let you know about major spikes or drops in temperature. Smartphone apps can track energy usage, and smart thermostats can learn your routine over time to adjust your temperature and reduce wasted energy consumption automatically.

You typically do not need more than one smart thermostat. While it’s common to see multiple mechanical thermostats throughout a large home, multiple smart thermostats may try to override each other. This can lead to problems with the HVAC system. Ensure the unit you buy has the option for dual- or multi-zoned systems to avoid compatibility issues.

Installing a programmable or smart thermostat may save you $180 per year in utility costs. A big part of this comes from a smart thermostat’s ability to learn and adapt to your regular routines. With smartphone apps or web-based interfaces, you also have the option to control your thermostat when you’re not home.
