"Requested quotation... serviced by Kevin Marks (owner). Kevin was prompt and anxious to do the job. We agreed on a price and scheduled the work. We were unsure of the color but Kevin was flexible and said since there were two coats of colorant necessary we could adjust the color after the first coat. <br /> <br /> Kevin and his crew arrived on time and finished as promised. They were careful to clean up after. <br /> <br /> When the surface was dry enough to walk on, I noticed several areas where the final surface was bad (insufficient coating, dry roller). I called Kevin and they returned and attempted to patch these areas unsuccessfully. We arrived at a mutually acceptable solution which required buffing and an additional clear coat of the entire floor. this was done at a reasonable additional cost. <br /> <br /> In discussion with Kevin, he revealed that they used to put two clear coats on every floor, but that pricing pressures have forced them to eliminate the second coat to be competitive. Since I did not get detailed competitive quotations on the job, I do not know for sure what the competitive job would have included. I would have preferred to have been given the option of a second coat up front. <br /> <br /> The difference between the initial coating (2 color coats plus chips and 1 clear coat) and the finisihed product (2 coats of color plus chips and 1 clear coat, then buff and 2nd clear coat) is remarkable in terms of gloss and smoothness. I assume this will also result in more resistance to scratching. I would strongly recommend this option and recommend to Kevin that he offer this option to future customers. <br /> <br /> Overall... very happy with this company and would recommend them and use them again.  <br /> <br />  "

"I had a unique project which entailed converting my side gate conventional hinge system that had a padlock to keep it secured into one that had an electronic access with keypad, exit button from the secured area, using an electronic door strike. I called several companies/contractors to provide a bid for the work, including one company who installed a similar system on my front gate. Nobody came through like Chris and his company. From the time when I first called and spoke to Chris's wife who mentioned to me that they do not usually take on smaller projects like mine, but she was extremely accommodating and willing to work with me. He visited me at the house, viewed the gate and the electronic components I had already purchased, and came up with a plan to have the job completed. There was no hesitation for any portion at all. He was confident he could do the job. He came before Christmas and said he was busy and would let me know in January when he had time. <br /> Sure enough he did call back in January when he was ready to do the work. He remained in contact with me and gave me details on project start dates regularly. He had another person from his company do the work. I was unable to be at home while the work was being done and would have wanted certain adjustments made before it was too late, but overall, I am still very satisfied with how the project turned out. He was not able to tell me how long the project would take since this was not a job that people do everyday. The price did come back a little higher than I expected but he did work with me and again, no hesitation to really make the customer happy. This has to be one of the best companies I have worked with, from start to finish. I have always read so many stellar reviews about other companies and always wished I could work with a company and have an equally good experience, and I can confidently say I finally did. <br />"

"Kevin did an amazing job remodeling our bathroom. <br /> Everything from design, demolition of existing old bathroom and building the new shower and bathroom was smooth, and done with precision. All lime stone tiles had to be cut into 3x12 to achieve the look we desired.This was complemented by a pebbled shower pan floor and full slab marble threshold. Kevin's fabrication skills are really amazing. The final result was better that we ever hoped. <br /> We were really lucky to meet such a good Craftsman.
