"We hired F&M after a significant water leak affecting multiple levels of our home. From our initial walk through to the end of the project, Michael worked hard to make sure our home was well taken care of. He handled multiple insurance supplements, even working through a second issue we found in the midst of this project. The Plummer and contractors were all anmazing, and I am confident in the work that has been done. I am so thankful that we had F&M to help us manage this water restoration. "

"Ultimate Craftsman's owner, Mark Belvin, is a true professional. Our project of a master suite and screened porch were done with great attention to detail. The workmanship was suberb and we are more than pleased with the finished project. It was a pleasure to work with Mark and we will use him for all future projects."

Customers say: Quick response

"Unlike other contractors I've used and I've used many, this team came promptly on time every day, worked diligently every day, stayed until close of business every day, and cleaned up, swept and did quality work, EVERY day. They will always be my first choice for future home projects of any kind. Mr. Stroop heard my ideas and his design experience brought them to reality-turned out beautifully. Enjoy the new room daily!"

"Hector and his crew were great. We had some delays getting materials and Hector waited with us the entire time. His communication is great. We bought doors and he installed them and built them in. Now I have privacy in my office while working from home. They look like they were supposed to be there. He matched the moldings perfectly. Can't wait to have him back to do our next project. His prices are fair and what I expected."

"I originally found Steve via Angie's List and he has done several jobs for me; all on time and at a reasonable cost. However, when my roof began leaking after this winter's heavy snows, Steve really outdid himself.
He came out, looked at the roof and then met with my insurance company to determine the optimal solution which ultimately meant replacing every board and all the shingles.
To work around my schedule, he brought in two crews to finish the job faster in a single day. Even the Insurance Adjuster who was there told me he was impressed with Steve.
Steve felt so strongly about the benefit of architectural shingles, that when I made the decision against them because of the extra cost (that the insurance would not pay for) Steve said he would pay the difference if that?s what it took. And he did. How?s that for putting the customer first?
I will definitely use Steve for other jobs. He is excellent, and honest. What else could you ask for?"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Williamsburg, VA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
