The pumps ultimately failed due to a breaker tripping because they put two 10 amp pumps on a single circuit. The basement flooded since no one is actively living there to hear the backup pump kick on. This in turn fried the battery backup and the electrical components that were installed knee high. I try to leverage their warranty, and they wanted 300 dollars to replace a marine grade battery that got destroyed because the basement flooded and the backup wasn't waterproof.
