After a consultation and some measurements we had a shopping list and some guidelines. Chip would check in from time to time and was available to answer any questions we had during the purchasing phase. "I hired Chris Beckhorn, Stonecraft in 2018 to locate and repair leaks in firebox and basement wall from the fireplace, so that I could make my fireplace functional again. Beckhorn decided that I needed new crown, caps, & repointing. Following payment of approx. $3000.00 for the above, the leaks remained unchanged!!! Beckhorn then revealed a "water test" that he could do to isolate the leaks.....my immediate question was " why wasn't I made aware of this in the beginning"? Had I been properly informed and educated when we first met, I would have requested that the "water test" be performed FIRST, so that the leaks could be fixed. Beckhorn continued to deny his role in not fixing what I hired him to fix. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Director Mary Mahoney, and the Attorney General's Office, Agent Ric LeBlanc, with ample documentation. Following those formal complaints, which will follow him for several years, Beckhorn decided to perform a "water test" in August 2019, stating to both Agencies, myself and the roofer, Bill Mahon , who Beckhorn blamed for creating a faulty roof, he would "prove" it was the responsibility of Mr.Mahon. The day of the test this past summer 2019, I had several witnesses including, myself, a mason, and Bill Mahon himself. The test revealed that the roofer was NOT to blame for the leak/leaks. Beckhorn would not permit a discussion of any kind with me about him making good on the leak repair, in fact, he insisted that I remove the complaints from both Agencies. I not only refused to remove the complaints, but contacted both Agents and re:reported Beckhorn filing additional complaints. Beckhorn is dishonest in his business management, and has no integrity. I urge every potential customer to heed this true account of my distasteful experience with Chris Beckhorn and please, contact both Agencies to hear what they have on file on Beckhorn which will remain there for several years."

"We worked with Andrew at Amazing Decks and the entire experience was excellent! We were replacing a 30 year old self installed deck with a screened in porch and larger deck. We had ideas and Andrew provided suggestions. What sealed the deal was being able to see the materials and discuss final options with Andrew a at their showroom in Ambler. They quoted a price and schedule and were right on. Installation of our 700sqft deck/screened in porch occurred in January / February 2022. They arranged for the permits, dumpster, port-a-potty, materials delivery, and foundation work. They had a super dedicated installation team that worked on our job straight for 2 weeks in some of the worst weather we had - temps in the teens, snow, freezing rain. They removed the existing deck and built the new deck. They kept us up to date on the progress and explained the construction every day to me. They were very courteous and maintained a clean construction site. The final punch list took less than a few hours to complete. Our township required a seepage pitch for drainage. Amazing Decks also coordinated the work for it, which happened in April 2022. Once completed, they did a final cleanup of the job site, filled in some ruts in the lawn, seeded and put hay on the bare spots. Overall, from beginning to end, they were fantastic to work with and the finished product - decks and screened in porch are - you guessed it - Amazing!"
