"We finally found the right contractor! We had 3 projects involving the basement, Master bath and front porch. Martin and his team are very skilled. The work is high quality, efficient and done correctly. Estimates are provided in writing in advance of the job. Martin is often onsite - either doing the work himself or supervising and guiding his team. He communicates well and often and he stands behind his work. We had a small issue in the Master Bath with the painting on the ceiling. He came immediately to inspect it, figured out the issue and had his team redo the ceiling paint. It's now perfect. "We had some issues with an old addition to house shifting. We found that the walls holding it had some damage and seemed to be crumbling.
 I had two firms come out to talk with me before Foundations Experts. One would not even look under the addition, said he had to come back. The other could not fit into the crawlspace and never came back. 
  Nicks guys were great. Went in took pictures asked questions and already knew the grounds from satellite photos. 
 They sent me a detailed report on what the issues were with all the photos. 
  During this time period they had been a lot of rain. My septic tank collapsed due to erosion and a broken pipe. Nick came out to take a look to make sure the house was safe since this is all connected to the addition. The septic tank was repaired. Nick gave me reports and advice on this in trying get insurance coverage even though the septic tank was repaired by another company.
 At this point the foundation work has been put on hold, because of the expense of the repairs to the septic tank. 
 Foundations Experts went way beyond what they had to do even though that got no work out of it at this time. 
 Nick said he will redo the proposals and take a look again when we are ready.

The work they did looks amazing, and they took care to make the new sections of mortar have the same style as the old sections on our beautiful Victorian. "How many stars can I give? I am extremely satisfied with the work and this company. From the initial contact to the final clean-up and later sealing it was quality work done with high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism. They worked to my specifications on shaping some curved sections and even suggested that a small landing step I had requested was not necessary. They were correct. Glad i trusted their judgement. A four man crew was on time (early) on each day, and worked through two if the most brutal days of the summer in intense sunlight with heat index near or over 100. At the end they cleaned so it looked as if they had not been there-except for an attractive new addition. The crew itself was great-answered my questions, thought about my suggestions, explained all steps in the process. The concrete used is high quality-4000 psi in compressive strength, 5 in and 4 in thickness (area specific) and rebar and wire mesh reinforced on a 5-8 in bed of compacted stone. Having wet the new pad over several days it is pitched perfectly for water run-off. Working with contractors is not always easy. This was a pleasure. I expect to enjoy the benefits of new area for many years. Their non cracking guarantee is great. A quality company that I highly recommend."
