"It went exceedingly well. When the job was bid they told us up front that they were scheduled for the next four weeks. It ended up being seven weeks but we had a long stretch of very bad weather over which they had no control. They estimated that it would take three days  and by working some long hours they met that schedule. Cleanup was done on a daily basis and then one final sweep upon completion. Very happy with the roof and the workmanship."

"They did a wonderful job.  Our project manager Nicole Reinhart came out and went over all the options with us, answered our questions, and had brochures for us to read.  She was friendly, very professional and obviously knew the product line.  She even took some paint samples from us so the windows would match the existing trim both inside and out. <br /> On installation day, we had no problems with dust or mess.  The techs did a great job and didn't break or disturb anything inside or outside the house.  The entirety of the project was done in two days.  Really impressive.  We had no problems with missed appointments or miscommunication.  (It was about three weeks between our initial consult and installation, and that was with some vacation time we took.  So no long delay should be expected.) <br /> The new windows are absolutely beautiful - with some other work we had done, it looks like a new house!  We opted for wood inside with metal outside for easier care.  We're already noticing a drastic decrease in summer temperatures in the rooms where we had the windows redone and even got a rebate from TVA for the energy efficiency.  <br /> What can we say - it's fabulous to have beautiful windows you can easily clean and see out of without problems, as opposed to the 60 year old windows we replaced.  We thought the cost was very reasonable for the work performed.  Also, we went with Pella since they have a factory in west Kentucky where our family is from - it feels great to shop locally. <br />"

"It went well. It didn?t take much time to do it. They were prompt, came when they said they would, and it didn?t take as long as they thought. They showed me how to work and clean the windows, as well as how to keep them from being opened. Gave me a gift card to Wal-Mart and two large containers of Windex."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"My roof was recently replaced by <strong>Lowry Roofing!  </strong>Justin and Jack Lowry were very professional and walked me through all the steps of filling a claim with my insurance company.  They met my insurance adjuster, (this was done free of charge) marked all of the damage in chalk for him to see and photograph.  <strong> I was amazed at how well the advocated for me!</strong>  This greatly helped in processing my claim and assuring complete roof replacement. <br /> I know Lowry Roofing is the reason my insurance company agreed to pay so much for my new roof. <br /> The job was done in a timely manner with quality materials (25 year warranty) and craftsmanship.  I was extremely impressed with the workers attention to detail and the cleanup process.  Justin and Jack were accessible to me at all times and checked to make sure all work was being completed properly. <br /> <strong>I strongly recommend LOWRY ROOFING and I am thrilled with my new roof!  <br /> I wish Angie's list allowed me to post a picture here!<br /> GAYLE TERRIBILE --The Woodlands, TX<br /> </strong> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Winchester, TN

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
