Get matched with top major home repair pros (general contractors) in Winooski, VT

"I had an old, massive chimney built years ago with the wrong brick, it was crumbling off my house. Most chimney repair contractors were quoting me upwards of 30, 40, 50k. Justin worked with me to find a solution which would cost me less than half of that and still ensure the longevity and safety of my chimney/house. It took a while to get done, we had to wait for the right weather but the outcome was fantastic and working with Justin was an easy, smooth and enjoyable process."

"JNG was excellent to work with. They provided a competitive quote, came on the date scheduled and completed the work in a timely fashion. The heat pump they installed was done according to code by a licensed electrician in an older home. This included running lines from the breaker box from one end of the house to the other. It works great and we have not had any issues. When I had the work done I was struggling to find a contractor and JNG was a lifesaver!!"

"I have hired these guys to come back and do more work at my home. They are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Phone calls or texts to Matt were answered in a very timely manor which I appreciated very much. Matt is local and is experienced with Vermont old homes. Repairs are complete and the cost is very reasonable. I have already recommended him to my family and friends. Thanks to Emilio and Trevor for great on-site work. You both are competent, considerate, and keep a clean safe work zone. Iâ m very happy with the job well done."

"Working with Kyle and this company was fantastic! Absolute professionals. I’ve had bad experiences with other major construction companies in the Champlain valley -including one company that didn’t finish the job and just left one day and never came back. CVB were great. The amount of communication was awesome. Never had to wonder what was coming up or what was going on. From estimate to execution, the whole process was amazing and my new deck looks awesome! Give them a call. Trust me!"

"Ricky and his Uncle Rick are awesome! We had a leak in our roof that was coming through the bedroom ceiling - they were quick to respond and came out on a Sunday to do the work before the next rainfall. They explained everything from beginning to end, and were professional and friendly. I highly recommend them, and will definitely go to them for any future roof repair."

"Took floor down to concrete base. Toilet flange rusted. Vanity had leaking pipe. Fixed/changed all. Replaced some drywall which had covered up holes. Removed odd molding & avocado paint. Painted & put up crown molding & tiled floor. Waiting for vanity & .toilet to come. Bathroom looks so good. Had been looking for a good contractor for over a year. Joe does good careful work & pleasant. Will hire for more work. Definitely recommend Joe."

"Barn Rescue – My barn was hit by a vehicle, which broke a large post and pushed section of siding out from under the roofline, plus major damage at ground level. Brad shored it up for the winter with an array of jacks and an enormous chain to ensure the thing wouldn’t fall down till they could return in the spring. Come spring, they fully replaced the damaged section’s support members and facade, and added bracing to the attic, rendering it stronger than before. Foundation support: The sagging beams and jerry-rigged support columns in the dirt basement of our 18th century house were inadequate. They dug and poured a dozen footings and lally columns, supporting a line of new 6x6 and 9x9 beams that provide solid support to the house above. They showed up promptly every day, worked fast, and left the site clean and finished. Both Brad and Chad have a deep knowledge about old houses and the techniques that were used, and I felt my historic register property was in good hands."

"Jon did a very efficient job on my roof repair. He was neat and timely and Iwould recommend him for any roof work that you need. Bill"
