"I sure was hoping to post a better review here for Blue Ridge Landscaping, however that is not the case based on the events that have unfolded. My handicapped mother and I split the cost of privacy trees for our new house. Over $6500 in total and all we have asked Steve to come back and fix the ones that have blown over. We paid an extra amount for him to come out and put stakes in the ground after they were initially installed, but they didn't seem to hold up. When he left that day he said "If you or your mom need anything, please call me". He seemed sincere, so Ididn't worry. Well we since have called and texted many times as the trees are sideways as you can see from the pictures. The only response I got was "Ok" one time and never heard from him or BRLS again. We got this referral from a local person and thought based on the google reviews, we should be good to go."

"I am very pleased with the work from Elijah, his team led by Victor, and Cassella Landscaping. I hired them to replaced old rotting timbers of the wood trim of the yard of my townhouse. I have never hired a hardscaping contractor and most photos from others are of stone work. After emailing a few contractors, Elijah was very prompt to respond but I ended up going with a different contractor because our schedules lined up sooner. This ended up being a disaster - we ended up having the first contractor pull up the poorly laid timbers so we could start over from scratch. I ended up reaching out to Elijah again, and he was so professional and courteous. He answered all my questions, gave me multiple quotes, and was flexible with the price after our neighbors decided they did not want us replacing the timbers that were on their property line. Elijah worked us into their schedule promptly, and his crew paid great attention to detail, even offering to fill in the gap in our driveway left by installing the timbers straight with asphalt! His crew led by Victor was very communicative, checking in with me in the middle of the project to make sure I was satisfied before proceeding further. One issue I had with the first contractor I worked with was he cut awkwardly small pieces of wood to save on buying more wood. Victor cut nice long piece - and even went out to buy another plank of wood in the middle of the project to make sure it looked nice. They definitely do not cut corners! The price they quoted was higher than the first contractor, but I felt it was reasonable, and they definitely are worth it, especially given how professional and responsive they were to work with, and their expertise and attention to detail during the installation. Overall, I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely be reaching out to them again if any other projects come up!"

"This is the third major project that Phoenix has completed at our home, and the results were equally as impressive as the others. The attention to detail and craftsmanship Phoenix brings to any project they take on is second to none, and it was needed to complete our patio and stairs. The deck portion of the project was complex and required the demolition of part of the existing concrete pad as well as en expansion of the previous footprint. The stairs required similar attention to detail to match the existing second story deck while preserving landscaping and mature azaleas that could not be replaced. Phoenix handled this task flawlessly while going above and beyond the original scope to make modifications that fit our needs and bring our vision to life. I would trust Phoenix to complete any project at our home, and we will certainly be calling them for our next project."
